Firstly... If you didn't already know... Say you've got a Warlock's 75%. If you get another Warlock's 75%, then your four-hour period is reset. But the same thing happens if you get Warlock's 25% or 50% -- your 75% is extended -- you don't get a new period of 25% or 50%. The higher number takes precedence.
Secondly... This tip has been doing the round of the clan mailing lists. Not sure if it works, but here goes...
1. Log out of Vampire Wars by closing any window with Vampire Wars active -- and before you log out, have a high-power magic in effect. Say, a Glyph of Wisdom 100%.
2. The next time you want to play, before you go into the game, look on your wall for someone posting any Glyph of Wisdom.
3. If you click on that link, and go into the game, and you were in time to claim the Mandy gesture, you'll find that your 100% Glyph has been extended, even though it might have expired hours or days ago.
The explanation is that your Blood Magic status doesn't update till the next time you log back in. So, as far as the game is concerned, you still have the 100% Glyph of Wisdom active for the purposes of extending it by receiving any Glyph of Wisdom gift.
