I hopw this sequence of images gives you some time of why I expereiemtn with digital art and the pure pleasure of playing with pixels.
It's the closest one can come to touching photons perhaps?
A rather basic mandelbrot indented curve.
How to make it hopefully more interesting?
A couple of simple changes. We now have the beginnings of an illusion of depth and a softer tonal range.
Now for some tiling to make a frame and then Emboss.
Forgive me if I dont share the exact settings i used but its better if you learn to adjust them yourselves.
I could probably change this even more to obscure the last lingering traces of the original mandelbrot? Enjoy!
