The American elections are running hotter than ever with the presence of two important girls that might determine who will win the election. Surrounding the buzzes, Magblog wants to salute to Mrs Obama and Mrs Palin's approach in spreading their celebrity persona.

Amidst media frenzy, Sarah seems to be hovering on top of Mrs Obama…Added to her CVs, pro gun rights conservatives, a mom with a newborn baby and a 15 year old pregnant teen to support her pro anti-abortion approach, an army son sent to Iraq in September 11 and definitely more to come…While Mrs Obama seems to have less drama…

More on Sarah Palin.

2008 is the year of mouse in the Chinese Lunar Year Calendar. Whether it is coincidental or not, Mickey Mouse range seems to be making a comeback as spotted at the designer's Vivienne Tam fashion show at Hongkong Disneyland.

(Models present Vivienne Tam's Mickey Mouse collection at Hongkong Disneyland).

Meanwhile, I have also noticed a range of Mickey Mouse collections at Mango and Glassons. Both retailer is located at Sydney’s Bondi Westfield and Eastgarden Westfield respectively. Whether the trend is going to make a comeback, there isnt any reason not to put the cute mouse collection in our next shopping list.

"Art is about looking at images beyond images", this is the statement that I learn from the movie ‘Monalisa Smile’. Is fashion a form of art? Most of us will agree that precisely. Unfortunately, the mainstream media has successfully redefined the meaning of fashion as copying the Hollywood’s style with pages and pages dedicated to celeb style. As a truthful fashionistas, we shouldn’t just devour whatever provided by the mainstream media. In this case, I am referring to our sense of dressing up- mixing and matching garments. If we agree that fashion is a form of art, this means when it comes to dressing up, we should not only bound to be confined to Hollywood style. Art teaches us to look beyond images which means that it requires us to deconstruct our mind and paradigm to look beyond bounderies. It is the way how we approach fashion from different angles and perspectives.

For instance, if our current trend of thought has always taught us to wear leather pants just the way how celebrity wears it, our mind becomes restricted to it
