Heart Broken

Sitting on the phone listening to his voice as he tells you that he likes you as a friend.
A friend? Is he serious. You are like the best thing that he has in your opinion.
He continues to ask if you are ok.
Well the obvious answer is no.
If you told him how you really felt it would be a painful description of how your heart feels like it is breaking down the middle slowly with every word he says.
Nobody ever realises how long it takes to mend a broken heart because it differs from each individual.
Personally I like the whole 'just get over it' mental talk.

Tell myself that I will survive and that one day I will be with someone who finally likes me back.
Broken hearts do not last forever, although they do take a long time to mend and heal.
I think if hearts couldn't be broken life would be boring and full of lessons in love we couldn't ever possibly learn.
It makes us all stronger and more aware of ourselves and others emotions.
You will survive a broken heart just like before and make it through to the other side where it will all start over again, hopefully this time without the heart break.

Honey, he isn't worth it

Often we all have some desperate measures and lengths we go to in order to grab his attention.
So what happens after he tells you he doesnt like you or after you see him in the corner of the room kissing another girl at a party?
You forget him...well atleast try to forget him, right ?
Well all to often this isnt the case.
We go home, lay in bed and formulate an amazing plan to recreate ourselves.
We tell ourselves that next time he sees us he will wonder how he could have been so stupid to ever even consider kissing the other girl over us.
You wake up and place you plan into action.

You shave anything you can find, cut and clean your nails and then visit your hairdresser or you dye your own hair.
Now you dress to impress or put on your school uniform and walk out the door.
You think to yourself that if this does not get his attention he definately has a sight impediment.
Then comes the moment. All your friends noticed the change and think you look hot.
So naturally he should notice the gorgeous makeover of the century, but does he?
No, because honey he just isn't into you.
Take it from somebody who has been there and shaved everything, dyed her hair three shades of different and tried hard to get his attention.
It doesn't work.
The truth is sad and it hurts, but the sooner you move on and realise he wasn't worth it the happier you will be.
If he does not notice you for the beautiful person you are naturally then he should not be a part of your fantastic like anyway.
Next time happens to you, by all means eat ice cream or cookie dough, but then please take my advice and just realise that 'honey, he just is not worth it.'

Love the chase

The way he looks make you weak at the kness and you start to think that perhaps you should make a move.
You show interest but he doesn't bite.
Is this his way of flirting or is he really not interested.
You chase him and show interest, you hook up and get along well.
Then all of a sudden you get bored and are no longer interested.
Is this because the chase and challenge was more to you than actually the person himself?
Well I have found in most cases it varies.
Firstly the chase is sometimes the only thing a person is interested in because simply you just want to prove to yourself that you have what it takes to get the guy.
On the other hand maybe it is because you have never thought about what to do once you have the guy.
So what do you do once you have the guy ?
1. Keep hanging out with him and spend time doing things he wouldn't normally do or you wouldn't do.
2. Talk with. Don't be one of those people who don't talk and expect the other people to have the superpower of being able to read your thoughts.
3.Do not have expectations that he will be like Brad Pitt in Oceans 11 or that she will be like Cameron Diaz in Something about Mary.
4.Be yourself. It is the worst thing to meet someone and then wake up to find out that they are not really like the person you met last night.

So, if the chase is something you are interetsed in then maybe just think about the person you are chasing and whether you really would want to spend time with the person if they show interest your way after the chase is over.

Love Stalker

Love stalkers.
The notorious people who will go to all lengths to date someone who has no interest in them at all.
I know in life we all get the urge to "accidently" bump into someone we are interested in at a night club or bar, but sadly there are some people who believe that the more they try the better the outcome.
