Lousy Dinner

I went close enough to home this afternoon that the wife could meet me for dinner. We ate at a place weve tried before. Its a Dennys so we thought it should be pretty good. It wasnt too bad last time. Tonight was something else. I ordered fish n chips and she got steak and shrimp. The food took a long time to get to us, mine wasnt bad. Fish, onion rings (they didnt have chips) and applesauce (cause I dont like cold slaw). She got her steak which wasnt medium rare, it was almost well done and had to wait for her shrimp and cold slaw (she does like it).The bread was really good, but everything else was pretty much a waste of money and chewing. So much for Dennys. They used to be a good restaurant. Guess I better stick to truck stops...
