Looks or Personality

What is it that attracts us to the right person? I find that in my younger days all wanted was someone with the right dimensions, no matter what was between the ears. There are heaps of theories around, as heaps of sayings which jump on one side of the debate.
"Beauty is only skin deep"
Obviously peoples' looks change with time and after a while gravity starts catching up with them. Therefore personality is important. You want someone who will be easy to get along with and share similar interests and views.
Do you believe in love at first sight? It is funny how many people I know are now married but initially got shot down by their future spouse, but eventually won them over. Yet I have also heard that there is something that twigs peoples minds that says that a certain person is attractive or not, and therefore once someone doesn't see you as attractive it is impossible to make them like you!
As time goes by people start getting more desperate and don't want that left on the shelf feeling. It is funny how you start being attracted to people you never would've before!
Anyway I reckon that a certain part of peoples personality does show in their appearance, and this is where looks and personality combine into the whole package.
