Hansel and Gretel at the Barbican
The Barbican will stage a promenade performance of Hansel and Gretel, where the audience can follow the actors through the wintry set on their journey through the forest. From December 1 to January 4.
Oliver! at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane
With a cast of more than 100, including the winners of the BBC reality television show I’d Do Anything, Lionel Bart’s masterpiece returns to the West End stage with Rowan Atkinson as Fagin. From December 12.
Disney High School Musical on Ice
The on-ice version of this hit musical, which is currently being screened in cinemas across Britain, runs at the O2 Centre in North Greenwich from December 26 to 29. Tickets cost from £19.50
RSC new production, The Tragedy of Thomas Hobbes in Wilton's Music Hall. Hidden in an East London alley, Wilton’s is, according to their website, “the world's oldest and last surviving grand music hall.”
