Small Login Changes
October 20th 2007 00:51
I've made a couple changes to the login process to simplify things and reduce the load on the servers. Most people will probably not notice any difference.
1) You will not be logged out unless you click on the "Logout" link, which only really matters if you are using a public terminal.
2) You will not be automatically logged into a domain blog. You need to click on the Login link for each domain blog you visit. Most people would have been doing this anyway. I've put a login link above the commenting box to make this a bit easier. The good news is that if you have logged into a domain blog once, and don't delete your cookies, you won't need to do it again.
Common solutions to logging in problems can be found on this post.
If you still have problems let me know as it may be a problem with the new system.
Thanks,
Jon.
