The world of high fashion is brutal, and this weekend Lindsay Lohan saw how brutal it could be. The Hollywood star ventured her way out of the movies to try her hand at fashion by being the “artistic adviser" of French fashion house Emanuel Ungaro. What was presented at Paris’ fashion week shocked everyone. Style.com said the show started out promising but then quickly "devolved into a bad joke of a fashion show, one with questionable color combinations, 'bad eighties' draped silk jackets and drop-crotch pants, old-fashioned and ill-judged fur stoles, and, yes, tasteless sequin pasties."
Lohan has a different perspective on how the fashion show went. She told People Magazine, “certainly more than I could have imagined, more than I’d ever hoped for … I couldn’t be happier.” Obviously, something went wrong because the general consensus is that the show was unsuccessful. The line is being criticized for its short dresses, overuse of sequins, and cheesy throw backs to the 80’s (think MC Hammer pants). Of course Lohan can’t be blamed for the fall of the house of Ungaro, but it seems as though she is being blamed for the failure.

Mackenzie Phillips dropped a bombshell on America when she admitted earlier this week to having a consensual sexual affair with her father for almost a decade. “I woke up that night from a blackout to find myself having sex with my father. I don’t know how it started,” she told viewers of the Oprah Winfrey Show. The interview was raw and I felt fairly bad for Mackenzie who has struggled with drug addiction for most of her life. The daughter of The Mamas and Papas singer John Phillips also confessed to using cocaine with her dad as early as 11-years-old.
Skeptical of Mackenzie’s claims is stepmother Michelle Phillips, also a member of The Mamas and Papas. She calls Mackenzie a liar who has a history of mental illness and drug addiction. Michelle told The Hollywood Reporter's Roger Friedman, "Mackenzie has a lot of mental illness. She's had a needle stuck up her arm for 35 years. ... She did 'Celebrity Rehab,' and now she writes a book. The whole thing is timed."
Michelle’s daughter Chynna supports Mackenzie and says she believes her half-sister. Other half-sister Bijou put out a statement saying: "When I was 13, Mackenzie told me that she had a consensual sexual relationship with our father. This news was confusing and scary, as I lived alone with my father since I was 3, I didn’t know what to believe and it didn’t help that shortly thereafter Mackenzie told me it didn't happen ....”
Personally, I believe Mackenzie’s allegations of rape, molestation and subsequent consensual sexual affair with her father. Whether her family believes it or not is up to them. “Forgiveness isn’t for the other person. It’s not to give the other person peace,” said Phillips to Oprah Winfrey. “Forgiveness is for you.” Phillip’s memoir “High on Arrival” is now available. The title of the book comes from a song written to Mackenzie by her father when she was 14-years-old. Can anyone say, “Creepy?????”

Britney Spears’ ex-husband Kevin Federline will join VH1’s popular reality television show Celebrity Fit Club. Federline’s weight gain has shocked fans and critics alike. This summer the once svelte backup dancer appeared at Ryan Sheckler's X Games Celebrity Skins Classic with baggy pants and bulging belly. By eye-balling his physique, insiders suspect he has gained an approximate 40 pounds. Shar Jackson, the ex-girlfriend and mother of Kevin’s first two children, was quoted saying Federine’s weight gain was just “daddy weight”. In support of her own weight-loss goals, Jackson will appear on Celebrity Fit Club alongside Federline. Also included in the celebrity lineup is Bobby Brown and rock star Sebastian Bach. It should be interesting to watch the dynamics between the new cast. I am sure the public and VH1 are anticipating an exciting season.
Ryan O’ Neal admits to Vanity Fair that he hit on his own daughter at Farrah Fawcett’s funeral. “I had just put the casket in the hearse and I was watching it drive away when a beautiful blond woman comes up and embraces me … I said to her, ‘You have a drink on you? You have a car?’ She said ‘Daddy, it’s me – Tatum!’ I was just trying to be funny with a strange Swedish woman, and it’s my daughter. It’s so sick.”

As I sat down to watch Transformers and my mind instantly wandered to Megan Fox’s weird tattoos. I watched my guy friends salivating over her toned pre-pubescentish body and said, “she’s a little bit weird.” When asked what I meant I replied, “she has peculiar tattoos all over her body.”

Stephen Baldwin, the obnoxious joker-faced Baldwin brother better known for his Hannah Montana (yes, Hannah Montana) tattoo filed for bankruptcy Monday. I’m not one to judge  . I know keeping track of your money no matter how much or little you have, isn’t an easy task, but being over 2.3 million in debt is a lot of money
