Lightening Strike

In the sand hills of Nebraska about an hour ago, something happened that really shook me up. I was driving along when a bolt of lightening hit my truck! I saw a big red ball and felt the impact. Couldnt see a damn thing for a few seconds (I was going about 70 mph at the time!) Good thing there was no one close ahead of me.
My interior lites that werent good to start with are completely gone now. My CB, Sirius, and phone were turned off so they werent damaged at all. I cant get to the battery to see if it melted. Guess Ill find out when I go to start it in the morning. Im shutting down early tonite partly because I need a break and partly because theres a restaurant and bathroom here. Id rather be here than somewhere on the highway if it wont start in the morning.
I may include and extra thank you prayer tonite. Getting hit by lightening isnt something to sneeze at. Ill wait til later to tell the wife...
