Life is sooo busy!

January 6th 2012 02:20
I've been so busy fulfilling items from my bucket list, I haven't had time to add to this blog. It's all good!

I've done a fair few things in the last few years especially after getting through my double-lung transplant in 2004. After having to be so physically limited for so long, it's really no wonder my bucket list is so important to me.

The first item on my list I was able to 'tick off' is the ability to run across the local football field - TICK. It was such an unusual feeling. I would imagine the feeling would be like walking for the first time in your life.

I guess one item on my list that really stands out is my trip to Europe only 18 months after my transplant. This was a recent addition to my bucket because I never really thought it was achievable. More like a dream. That trip will forever have a special place in my heart.

Since Europe, my husband and I have really made the effort to travel more. Almost every year we do an overseas trip and an interstate one. So far, we've been to Malaysia, Thailand twice, New Zealand, This year, we are going to Korea and Philippines. I can't wait!

Anyway, this is all I can add for now. Gotta go back to work...

I'm pretty sure that many of you, if not all have stopped and thought about our reasons for existing. I, for one, have thought about this too many times, especially when life, itself, isn't going so smoothly.

After surviving some close calls in my life so far,, I decided to start coming up with my own Bucket List much like the same thing in that movie with Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson. It's basically a list of things to do in your lifetime before life runs out.

I'm going to start telling you about my experiences so far in completing my bucket items. Then, blog about my remaining items from my bucket that I'll be going through. As you enjoy reading through my posts, hopefully you will get to understand who I am and the purpose of this blog. Hope you enjoy reading.
