LAX
Well, Chris and I are here at LAX. We actually arrived fantastically early; and, since we checked in online and since we have no bags to check, we're stoked. In fact, we've already had a nice pint of Karl Strauss Red Trolley to help ease the pains of economy class.
Observations:
- the American general public complain too much
- the American general public are impatient
- the American general public are hypocrites
- the American general public will not be missed
- if I encounter the American general public in Japan, I will subject them to the katana of my caustic rhetoric
Anyway. I've already got 5500yen in my pocket. It isn't burning a hole, however -- I'll need to save it best I can. I did, though, pick up the beers with my Discover card -- which I can't use in Japan.
Here's to a dozen bathroom trips en route; anxious to see Chris' face when we emerge in Shibuya!
