Last Day In California

Goal: Fit in as much sightseeing as possible this last day in Hollywood, California.
After a cheddar & broccoli omelet and checking out of my hotel I took the shuttle to City Walk to put one of my two bags in a locker. I carried my backpack all day and put the Hollywood bag with souvenirs in the locker. Then I walked down the hill to catch the Metro to Hollywood/Highland to take some tours and take in some more sites.
I bought a Los Angeles Go Card for $45 before my trip. This card allowed me to do as many tours and activities I could do between 9 a.m.-- 5p.m. I only had time for two tours, but each cost $50 so it was still a really good deal. First I went on a walking tour. Grauman's Chinese Theater, The Roosevelt Hotel where I heard Marilyn Monroe's ghost lives, the church were Sister Act/End of Days was filmed, various stars on the walk of fame and foot/hand prints of various actors.
Next I took a trolly ride around Hollywood. I got to see The Hollywood Bowl, Paramount Pictures, Capitol Records and as close to the Hollywood sign as the trolly was allowed to go. It was a beautiful sunny 75 plus degrees, so I really enjoyed the walking and the ride around town in the open air.
I slept on the plane for about 4 hours. Then drove 3 hours back home. I was really thinking how Ohio must not love me very much (even if some of the people do) because it was 38 degrees, rain mixed with snow on the drive and very cloudy even at 11:30 a.m. when I got back home. I am definitely going to have to go somewhere warm for my Birthday next year also.
