Well our favourite ‘Electro House’ group are riding a wave of success at the moment, touring all over the world and releasing their new material back home. Sneaky Sound System’s latest album ‘2’ was droped just over a month ago and has already been certified Gold by ARIA. After the first single Kansas City, went top 15 the follow up single ‘When We Were Young’ is sure to do well. It’s certainly a sing-a-long track with a bit more edge than usual. I am a massive fan of these guys, they have now not only established themselves as artists but also as some of the industry’s heavyweights. Really I can sum it up in two words, Loving Ladyhawke. If you don't know who ladyhawke is then pay attention! Ladyhawke is the alter ego of solo musician Phillipa "Pip" Brown, formerly of the Wellington band Two Lane Blacktop and the Sydney duo Teenager with Nick Littlemore of PNAU. Noted as being influenced by 1980s music, Ladyhawke is best known for the 2008 single "Paris Is Burning", which she wrote after a visit to Paris. Her debut album was released just a couple of weeks ago and it is awesome. The latest single of her album is called 'Dusk Til Dawn' i will admit it's not for everyone but she certainly has found a solid fan base. Aussie 'Super Group' Sneaky Sound System released their new album on Saturday and i was there to grab my copy...... The new album is titled '2', it feature 10 new tracks and Stays true to Sneaky style. After my first quick listen i was a little bit worried that the album didn't live up to the last, with the overall sound of the album not as up-beat. Still this album is above average and has some true gems like 'I Want Everything', this track was written for Kylie Minogue's Last Album but was not chosen by the record exec. Which is great because it suits Sneaky great, it is a killer dance/pop track and i think it will be really popular. The album also features the hit single 'Kansas City' and future Hit's 'When We Were Young' and 'I Just Don't Want To Be Loved'.

Sorry to disappoint you if you thought i had good news about Paris Hilton dying or something, instead i want to introduce you to a cool new song by New Zealand Electro Rock Pop band and new comers on the scene, Ladyhawke. Now residing in London, Ladyhawke are releasing their first EP which features the new single Paris Is Burning. I don't mind this track it's growing on me. I have always thought that the ‘Idol’ television series has been a bore, more importantly as we all know the music that the contestants produce is always crap. I think the reason that the music is always bad is the record company pushing the winner into a box that they probably don’t fit into. Now 7 seasons on I think I have been proved wrong. Lisa Mitchell is a 17 year-old singer songwriter from country New South Wales who was apart of the show 2 or 3 seasons ago. She has defied the trend and had has made the music that she enjoys and it shows. Lisa has released two EP’s now the latest of which features one of my new favourite tracks called Neopolitan Dreams. The track has caught the alternative market that she was looking for and I would be surprised if her album she is currently working on finds its niche and does well. I have replaced the video so you can check it out. Personaly it's an Ok song but i agree 'wow' wasn't the right single choice, neither was 'in my arms' and i think their are better tracks than 'the one' on the album which would work better as single. anyway i don't get to maker the choices and i could talk on about how she sould have of done it forever so i will just stop now before it gets to complicated.

I think the reason for the dip in sales figures has to do with the music on the last album. The 'Sound' of the album was not very differant from her album before it so people were wanting some new. I also think they released all of the wrong singles off the album which didn't help.

well fair enough opinion but i think she has still got more to offer. Though i disagree about the lip synching, i am sure she has done it, but all of the performances i have have seen her do whether on Tv or live are all not lip synched.
