Kyoto Fiasco

The United States has been scorned by many for not signing Kyoto Protocol(Treaty). Today, contrary to popular belief, the nations that signed it are not holding up their side of the bargain to reduce carbon emissions which leads to greenhouse gas pollution.
Seems that the real objective of the treaty is to produce 'green' in the money variety. Now the nations that failed are looking into alternative ways to comply without being penalized. The goals are not possible and the permits the nations must buy are expensive.
People keep forgetting that they can't control nature. If they could it would be 70 F and sunny and mild all over the world. For once, I'm glad my tax dollars were spared from a pipe-dream-pyramid-scheme!
