If you've already watched part 1 and 2 of this movie, you'd certainly know that this part is showing the past wherein how the Lycans (werewolves) started from.
It's good to know the history of where things have started. And same as the previous parts, the effects used are still astounding and realistic.
All I could say about this movie is that it's great. And if you enjoyed the first parts, I know that you'll also do with this one.
I'm looking forward to a part 4 of this movie, just in case they still have some ideas on how the story would proceed.

After watching the first part of the movie Death Note, it's quite obvious that there would be a continuation. Misa was saved by a Shinigami (death god) named Jealous or Gelus, who was watching over her. And the Death Note was given to her by another Shinigami named Rem.
Death Note 2 - The Last Name
As one of Kira's supporters, she was sure in meeting Kira now that she possess the same powers and even much more. In order for her to get in touch, she used a media company to broadcast the videos that she had prepared.
Kira (Light Yagami) already joined the investigation group of L, and were discussing matters about the case when the broadcast of video from Misa (also called as Second Kira) took place. The reporters on TV emphasized that they were forced to broadcast them as ordered by Kira, or else their lives would be taken away, starting from their directors, one by one.
The video specified that a reporter from another TV station would die as he was against Kira's acts. And at that moment, L changed the TV channel, and in a few seconds, saw that the reporter suddenly started having a heart-attack, live, then the station went into commercial. Going back to the previous channel,
It was quite intriguing and really fun watching it, and most of the secrets and the action would be seen in the second part. Amane Misao is really a nice girl in this movie, though she is obsessed in meeting with Kira. And when she finally does, she even decides to give up the notebook. It was like she devoted her life for Kira and doesn't even care if she gets killed or not. Well, I can't blame her, after finding out about her background.
Actually, after I watched this movie, I got depressed coz Light died in the end. Well, it seems that he was regarded as the bad guy. Even though his intentions were to rid the world of criminals or evil people.
So, who's side are you going to pick, Light's (Kira) side or L's?
If you haven't watched this movie yet, I strongly recommend that you do.
A remarkable movie indeed. I hesitated to watch this movie at first, since I thought that it was a horror movie. But instead, I looked through the animated version, as it was based from it. After watching a few episodes, that's the time I found out that the story was created by a really creative and brilliant writer.

One thing that catched my eyes for this movie is the poster of the pretty lady samurai. Yes, you read it right, she's a samurai, in fact, a trained samurai assassin. One of the best in Japan during the era of emperors and battles with swords were the most commonly used weapon. Easily said, if you don't know how to handle a sword at that time, you'll be easily killed.
