When you watch movies, do you think to yourself - I wouldnt do it that way?
Do you think, I'm far too smart to get caught, to gloat, to be caught monolouging? Do you think I wouldnt wait to torture, or to maim, Id get my killing done and skiddadle fast outta there?
Heres the thing.
Look at it back wards.
Think of someone you would like to kill. Not just anyone, someone who really works up a vengeance in you. Then, when you think about all the smart things - leaving no clues, doing it quickly and cleanly -
Well. That just takes the fun out of it doesnt it? What is the point of great revenge if you cant take your pleasure from it? Because when you think of all the smart things, you arent thinking about revenge. When you actually start to think about purpose, it gets all sticky.
Especially if, like me, death is not a punishment, but a release. Then revenge gets really hard. How to maim someone and never have them tell on you?
I hate society. Once we never had the killers dilemma. We just did it. I mean, we cant all be Beatrix, off the map.
