WWE Commerical Free and Free For All

The WWE is wrestling through hard times by making sure every fan is happy. Tonight's RAW is commercial free for everyone sitting on their butts at home with the USA Network. The WWE took the fandemonium to another level by making the event free for everyone in attendance with a ticket stub.

Donald Trump came to address the crowd and made the block-buster announcement that everyone in the crowd would get a full refund. According to Trump's speech, this will cost the WWE $250,000.

To make fans happy the WWE also had a PPV Main Event on RAW. HHH fought Randy Orton in a Last Man Standing Match for the WWE Title. Too bad the ending of the match was a double-countout. How the hell is there a tie in a Last Man Standing Match. If you do not know what a LMS match is... The premise of the match is that if a wrestler cannot answer the count of 10 then that man loses. HHH apparently injured his knee so badly that he could not stand to pick up the win after knocking Randy Orton with 'The Pedigree'.

John Cena also announced on the show that he will fight the Miz at 'The Bash' PPV on Sunday. The Miz is getting his push big-time!

Marshall Wants Out of Denver

Josh McDaniels can't keep an offensive player in Denver. Jay Cutler got out in the off-season and now his favorite target Brandon Marshall wants out of Denver. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Brandon Marshall has asked to be traded from the Denver Broncos.

The most obvious destination would be Chicago to rejoin Cutler, but the word on the street is that the Baltimore Ravens are the front-runners. If indeed this true, Marshall and second year QB Joe Flacco could be a threat in the NFL for the next decade.

Marshall is a buyer beware kind of player because of his inability to stay out of trouble or the hospital. Marshall is a quality player but seems to spend more time on the sidelines with silly injuries or legal problems. Does everyone remember when he was out because he cut himself wrestling with a family member?

RAW is Trump?

On tonight's edition of Monday Night Raw, Vince McMahon announced that he has sold Monday Night RAW to a mystery buyer. The mysterious buyer of RAW turned out to be... Donald Trump. Yes, that is not a joke. Donald Trump is now a part of the WWE as the "sole owner of the WWE RAW franchise".

It is highly doubtful this angle will last long since Donald Trump is not a full-time performer. We'll see where this will takes the WWE. The announcement was disappointing as I was hoping for someone with a wrestling history (Paul Heyman maybe?) was taking over for awhile.

Trump made a speech by video promising to give the fans what they want. He started by saying next weeks edition of RAW would be commercial free. Hopefully he walso appoints a new GM with some wrestling history.

Adam Schefter Joins ESPN

Former NFL Network reporter Adam Schefter has joined the crew at ESPN. Schefter is considered to be the most accurate and most connected reporter of the NFL media. ESPN officially announced the addition today.

"The name ESPN speaks for itself. Its reputation stands alone,” Schefter said. "I watched ESPN growing up, so to be a part of the programming that every football fan watches, and really has always watched, and to be a part of such a talented group of people, it’s surreal to me. It feels like I’m a late addition to the Pro Bowl. I'm flattered, honored, humbled — and I can’t wait to get to work

Vickie Guerrero Quits WWE

Former Raw General Manager Vickie Guerrero has given her notice to the WWE. She announced yesterday on RAW that she was quitting her job on the show. Edge then came out and asked for a divorce. This tied up all loose ends and left the door open for her departure.

From what I have heard from a few sources, she will be leaving to spend more time with her daughters. The WWE removed her profile on wwe.com this afternoon at the same time as Umaga's profile

Umaga Released

The WWE released today on it's official website that they have come to terms with Umaga on his release.

World Wrestling Entertainment has come to terms on the release of SmackDown Superstar Umaga as of today, June 8, 2009. WWE wishes Umaga the best in all future endeavors.

Batista Needs Surgery

WWE Superstar Batista apparently needs to go under the knife again. After returning earlier this year from a lengthy quadriceps injury, Batista is scheduled to have surgery Tuesday for a torn bicep.

For those who watch the WWE Extreme Rules PPV last night, you were likely shocked by the shortness of the cage match between Randy Orton and Batista. This is almost 100% likely because of the injury. Batista is pure power and would not be able to put on a lengthy match without the use of both guns

The UFL is Coming

The UFL (United Football League ) is actually starting up. With the NFL being one of the best run leagues in the world, you kind of have to question that chances of the UFL succeeding in the same market.

The UFL officially held try-outs for the new league in Orlando Florida this past weekend. The talent was not stellar that showed up but this was just the first of many try outs. The next will be held in Las Vegas next week

Final Fantasy XIV for PS3 Only

Square Enix has dropped a bomb on the gaming world. The most anticipated game in years, Final Fantasy 14, will be exclusive to the PS3 for consoles. Many gamers who chose the Xbox over the PS3 are now regretting that decision. FF14 will be one of the biggest MMORPG games in the history of the console business.

The only other details that were released by the manufacturer at E3 were that the game would simultaneously be released in 4 languages: English, Japanese, German, and French
