How to Fix a Slow Running Computer Fast?

September 10th 2010 12:30
How to Fix a Slow Running Computer Fast? The way to fix any slow computer is to repair the problems that are making it run slow in the first place. Not many people realize why their computer is running slow - but if you think about it, it's actually quite simple to understand & fix if you know what's going on.

There are a number of reasons why a computer may run slow, from having a corrupt hard drive to problems with your programs. However, there's one issue which is almost certainly making your computer run slower & slower each day - a problem with the "registry" database.

The registry is a one of the main reasons why Windows will run slower, and it's all because of how your system uses this part of it to run each day. The registry is essentially a big "directory" of information that your system needs to read to enable it to recall such details as your desktop wallpaper, latest emails, Internet bookmarks and even your saved passwords.

The problem with your PC is that the registry of your system is continually being used so much that your computer will actually end up saving many parts of it in the wrong way. This will cause the settings to become damaged and corrupted, leading your system to take much longer to process the files that it requires to run. Because the registry is a vital part of your system, any damaged parts of it will make Windows run extremely slowly, as your system will have to take (much) longer reading the files that it needs.

The trick to make your PC run extremely fast is to clean out all the damaged parts of the registry database to make your system run like new again. The way to do this is to use a registry repair tool to fix the various errors inside the registry database.

This type of tool is a software program used by 1,000's of people around the World to speed up their systems - and they work by scanning every setting inside your PC and fixing the ones causing a problem on your system. If you're able to use a reliable registry cleaner on your system, it should be able to boost the speed of your PC dramatically.

How to Boost the Speed of Windows 7 in a Second?

1) Defragment Your Hard Drive - Not many people even know what this is, but the fact is that the program of a "fragmented" hard drive often causes PCs of all ages to run extremely slow. A fragmented hard drive is basically where Windows will save many files in the wrong places & will split them up, making it extremely difficult for it to read them the next time it requires them. Your hard drive is basically like a "library" for your PC, and each file has its own location.

2) Remove Un-wanted Programs - Applications / programs are software tools that you install on Windows. Although it's good to have a diverse selection of programs on your PC, the fact is that many of them could be slowing your system down. The problem is that most of the time, programs will actually run without you even having to load them up (it's known as the programs running in the "background").

3) Clean Out The Registry - The 'registry' is one of the most important parts of all Windows systems, but is also a big cause of problems for Windows 7. The registry is basically a central database which stores important information for your computer, and is where all the settings, options & system files for your PC are kept. Although the registry is an integral part of every Windows installation, the fact is that most of the time, it's continually being damaged & corrupted, leading your system to take longer to read the files and slow down.

How to Make Your PC Fast in Seconds?

September 10th 2010 12:26
How to Make Your PC Fast in Seconds? The generic way to make a Windows PC run faster is to fix the various problems which first cause it to run slow. There are actually a number of different reasons why Windows computers will not run as fast as possible, ranging from having hardware issues to programs malfunctioning. However, there's a trick which you can use to boost the speed of your PC - which is to clean out the registry of your computer. This method is one of the main ways that computer technicians will try and speed up a slow PC, and the good news is that the process of this method is so simple that even a beginner should be able to do it with ease.

Cleaning out the "registry" of your PC is the trick that most people are now trying to use to get their system to run faster. This method works by cleaning out any of the corrupt or damaged files / settings from the registry database of your PC. This database is the central nervous system for your computer, where all the files, settings and information that Windows requires to run are kept. Everything from your desktop wallpaper to your stored Internet passwords are stored in the registry, making it one of the most important parts of the Windows system.

Not many people even know the "registry" exists, but the fact is that it's probably the reason why your PC is running slow. The issue is that the registry of your PC stores 1,000's of vital settings which your computer needs to use each time it runs. And because so many files are kept inside it, each time you use your PC, it's constantly required to read 100's of files in order to run. Unfortunately, so many of these files are open at once that Windows often saves a lot of them incorrectly, causing them to become damaged & unreadable. This is like mixing up all the entries of the Yellow Pages, and makes Windows unable to process the various files that it requires to read from the registry each day, slowing it down.

Having a corrupt registry is the main reason why Windows computers run slower, and although there are a number of methods people will explain to boost your system's speed, the fact is that if you don't have a registry that's working correctly, your system will likely never run fast again. The trick to make your PC run faster is to fix the registry... and to do that, you can use a "registry repair" application to scan through the database and fix the errors inside. Registry repair tools are popular software programs which are designed to repair the various errors inside the registry database which are causing your computer to run slower & with errors.
