Keep Windows XP!

Users Petition to keep Windows XP
Monopoly I say!
I didn't know they were phasing out Windows XP! I love Windows XP it's the most stable Windows OS ever! Sure they're claiming Vista is going to be more stable, but I really don't get why they need to completely phase out XP when most softwares still can't run on Vista.
My laptop runs on Vista and I use this mostly for browsing and blogging mainly because most other softwares I need, specifically for work, do not work! Sure Vista looks cool, they claim it to be equal to the Mac OS (or at least look like it) but still isn't user or software friendly.
I know, I know... why not switch to Mac? or maybe even Linux?? Well, a Desktop PC is still the cheapest and most familiar to me. I use the same system at work so it's just practical I use the same at home, especially when I'm on call.
When 80% of Windows users are still waiting on at least another year before they completely trust Vista, Microsoft is forcing them to. I studied a bit of marketing during college, but this doesn't take college to understand -- they simply want more money. I know a lot of new laptop buyers buy a Windows XP OS for backup when they find out most of their softwares aren't working, I was going to be one of them. I still wish I had. Maybe, I still will before they phase it out on June. Even if they phase it out, I can still use it anyway.
So if you're a Windows user and would rather have XP for another two years or so, let's sign up!

Amy: I cannot agree more!
Neither does our company. The only reason some of our PCs are on Vista is because it's a client requirement.
Money money money huh?
