What is going on in the world today?
So many people are doing things that really you can not help but just shake your head at and wonder what the hell is going on.
Two instances in the past week alone spring to mind instantly.
The father (and maybe mother) who after being sacked from his job and being told he "should of blown his brains out" - going home and doing just that but also killing his family in the process and this week in Melbourne, a father has thrown his 4 year old daughter off a bridge, she died.
I am lost for words. I really am. When I first thought about writing this blog I thought well I'll have loads to say on it but writing it now words are failing me. Trying to understand why or how you could do this I just don't know. I guess we will never know. Unless you are driven to that point of utter desperation that will drive you to kill your family or murder a child. I don't know what thoughts must of been going through either of these men's heads.
Here are some phone numbers of places who can help if you feel you have no where to go:
Salvation Army - 13 72 58 (Australia)
Lifeline Australia - 13 11 14
Financial Counseling - 1800 808 488
Talk to friends, talk to anyone.
A family is dead another broken.
The biggest asset we have as human beings are our ears, it's amazing what help you can do just by listening.
Thank you for reading.

My top 10 songs of all time!
Now we all have those songs of the moment. This list isn't one of those. This list is of those songs that you listen to are you just can not get enough. The songs that you know if you listened to it in 20 years time you will love it just as much as you did the first time you heard it. There are some obscure ones in here though, but they are the kinds of songs that I can put on repeat for a whole 2 hour driving trip and still love it at the end.
Not in any order:
1. City of Angels - The Distillers. I just love how this song sounds, Brody Dalle's (then Armstrong) voice, the guitars and the chorus. It's a short song, or if you compare it to most Distillers songs it is actually quite long.
2. Spanish Bombs - The Clash. I love The Clash. Almost every song off of London Calling is great. But this one is just so catchy! I love how it has the Spanish in it to.
3. Who's gonna save us? - The Living End. To me this is a good summery driving song. Good to sing along to but then all Living End songs are!
4. Famous Last Words - My Chemical Romance. Yes I have an "EMO" song on my list! This is a very under-rated song in my eyes. With a chorus of "I am not afraid to keep on living" how can you not like this song. Good song.
5. What I've Done - Linkin Park. I love Linkin Park. Have right from the start but this song for me is something different. Chester doesn't scream in it instead he sings. I want to get part of the lyrics tattooed to. Everything on the song just works for me. The lyrics, the music everything.
6. Bridge over troubled water - Simon and Garfunkel. A slow song. A classic. A bloody good song.
7. How far we've come - Matchbox 20. This one is a relevant song I think. To this day and age. As humans we have evolved so much but how far have we really come. Just the title on its own is enough to open debates!
8. Liv it up - Mental as Anything. Whenever I feel slightly down I always listen to this song.
9. Crystal Ball - Pink. The newest one to the list but there is just something about this song. It's so simple. Not in a dumb sense but in a there is only her and a guitar and the words just all work so well together.
10. The Longest Time - Billy Joel. Again this is a classic. No instruments. Just Billy Joel and backing singers. Brilliant. They don't make song like this anymore.
I was reading the paper and saw this story:
"A DIMWIT copped her fair share of cross words when she called the German equivalent of triple-0 - to ask for the answer to five down. [ Click here to read more ]

I will start this by saying I am not a fan of this show. I tried to watch it once and then, like Desperate Housewives, I gave it a second go and still came to the conclusion. I don't understand why people love this show!
I found nothing appealing about watching 4 middle aged women drinking coffee and having sex then bragging about it to each other. In terms of fashion etc I can kind of understand it. I did try to give it a go. Most of my friends love this show and were so excited about the DVD Box set when it came out in the shoe box. Clever idea that though.

There are lists like this everywhere, who are the hottest guys on the planet? The hot list of 2008 etc etc... Bah! Everyone has their own views on who is "hot" in their eyes. Here are mine!
1) Richard Armitage - Yes, I am infatuated with Richard Armitage. Star of North and South (Mr Thornton.. mmmmmmm), Robin Hood and the new agent in Spooks series 7. He is just yummy, with such a smooth voice, sly grin. Hot
