BAli Road Map; the result

December 17th 2007 01:21
Finally, US agree to get involved on the global movement to fight the climate exchange.
This is a true relief to reduce the carbon emission that are the main cause of the climate change. But there is one question; how much the carbon emission will be reduced? They didnt agree about any number yet.

Tokyo protocol urge some country to push their carbon emission at spesific persentage. US didnt sign the Tokyo protocol until now, so they have no obligation to reduce the carbon emissiion. US are the largest carbon emissioner in the world. Followed by Japan and Russia. I doubt that US will be able to reduce its carbon emission by 10% in 2012. It will make the economic of the US ruined and more fragile since the slowdown in 20's. US economy is depend so much to the foreign transaction. If the world dont use the US dollar as their trade curency, US economy will crash out.

But the climate change is a global phenomena, the risk of ignoring the danger, will have we, human kind, in to a BIG trouble. Many people in the world has suffer from the current climate change, its just the beginning. The next 20 years we will see the result of our mistake, deforestation. heavy industrial pollution, our motor comustion. We always throw the garbage in to other. Not in my backyard idea, thinking its gonna be alright if my backyard always tidy and clean, althought in outside of the town, our garbage getting much higher that everest.

Stop hurting our environment now!!!

Global warming fools

Why do American dont want to sign the Tokyo protocol about reducing the carbon emission since the fact said that US is the most largest carbon emission in the entire world? Its 20 ton/person/year. I cant imagine the US people is combusting carbon at that rate.. Still, US people keep blaming developing countries when their using the forest as a natural resources with the global warming.

Now, 180 countries gathered in Bali to get a next step to fix the global warming. Every countries take an action. In Indonesia, right now, there is a green movement to get the unused industrial forest to get green back. The co-president, ask the civil servant to use AC wisely, not permited to below 24 degrees. Many countries agree to pay some carbon exchange rate to obey the UN millenium goal and tokyo protocol carbon emission limit.

Personally, if US dont do anythink to reduce its carbon emission rate. Than I will boycott all of US products, because they are created with so much pollution with it.

Go Green Everybody..
