Justice for all? - by swanston1

After a few years saying im GUNNA do this and im GUNNA do that, I got totally sick of being a GUNNA and had my say. Especially now that these self help checkouts have been introduced. For Melburnians reading this, did we not see a very similar process with the tramways introducing the ticket machines. I was there, I was a conductor they used us up to coerse the public into a system they never wanted, now I see the same thing happening in Safeway checkout.

I refuse to use them and had to have my say, im so sick of these majors ripping everyone off, and seriously, if a company has enough funding to afford to sponsor, then theyre earning to greedy excess

Another fine story - westpac bank rip off merchants.

Just a short note about another fine topic of humanity from WESTPAC BANK. Yeah I'll name the bank and ive even told them ill be doing this, their choice.
My poor 82 year old grandmother, struggling on her measly 2 two hundred and something dollars a week paid her visa bill the other day. Accordingly all on time.
She received her visa statement today in the mail to discover she had been charged $35 late fee for 9 cents she was owing

TAC, Workcover, practitioners & dodgy employers. (LINK)

It seems apparent through personal experience and by talking with others who have seemingly be ripped off by the ones who are supposedly there to protect people, that we are anything but protected. The system has surely gone haywire.

I'm not here to say that I know the law or that i'm experienced with this topic in any way, all I know is personal experience, and it simply does not seem right

Old aged Homes - A true story. (LINK)

It has been a long time known fact that Old Aged Homes are the final act of cruelty on the elderly. Families throw away their parents or grand parents, a dumping ground for a burden or people who cannot face the responsibility of ongoing care of a once loved one.

If you think that these places are nice here may be more proof for you to think about before sending someone there or your own future

I have had it with people that say animals are dumb.. (LINK)

So many people have it drummed into their little closed brains that animals are dumb, stupid, have no emotion, no feeling, no expression, or that they do not feel pain or cannot be truly taught.
Thanks to my incredible friends who constantly send me uplifting and beautiful stories or video footage of positive animal/human interaction. Here is some video footage for the animal disbelievers.

A dog needs our help..another case of cruelty (LINK)

SHERMANS OWNER ABANDONED HIM FOR WELL OVER A MONTH.....THIS WAS NOT THE FIRST TIME SHE HAD LEFT HIM TO FEND FOR HIMSELF. IT WAS NEARLY TWO WEEKS WHEN A NEIGHBOR NOTICED THAT SHE HAD MOVED OUT AND LEFT SHERMAN BEHIND WITH NO FOOD OR WATER. AT THE END OF TWO WEEKS, THE NEIGHBOR CALLED ANIMAL CONTROL AND REPORTED THAT SHERMAN WAS ABANDONED IN A FENCED IN BACK YARD WITH NO WAY OUT AND NO ONE WAS FEEDING HIM.

IT WAS ANOTHER WEEK BEFORE ANIMAL CONTROL GOT OUT AND SEIZED THE OLD ROTTIE. THEY SENT A CERTIFIED LETTER TO THE OWNER NOTIFYING HER THAT SHE WAS BEING CHARGED WITH ANIMAL NEGLECT AND THAT SHE HAD TO RESPOND TO THE CERTIFIED LETTER AND APPEAR IN COURT. THE DAYS CAME AND WENT, AND IN THE MEANTIME POOR SHERMAN WAS LOSING HIS SPIRIT AND ALL HOPE OF GETTING OUT OF HIS ISOLATION CELL THAT HAD NO WINDOW, NO GRASS, AND MOST OF ALL NO HUMAN INTERACTION. HE WAS SO FRUSTRATED AND ANXIOUS THAT HE RUBBED ALL THE TIP OF HIS NOSE RAW ON THE CONCRETE IN THE SMALL CELL THAT NOW HE HAD SPENT OVER 6 MONTHS IN

Is this the proof we need to go that extra distance to close down Animal testing Labs? Sounds like theyre burning in their own manure....Shit floats downhill and it looks like the labs are going downhill in a very rapid way.
