Terms like “luxury” and “eco-friendly” seem to be getting along better these days as we see them coming under one roof to render the most opulent yet green alternatives. The Trident Iceni highlights the clever fusion of these two features. Designed and manufactured by Phil Bevan, it is empowered by a Duramax turbo diesel engine with 550 horsepower at 3800 rpm. This enables the Iceni to zoom off to over 200 miles per hour. Also it can cover 2,000 miles on a full-fueled tank. This green two-seater sports car can go from 0-60mph in less than 4 seconds and deliver up to 100mpg.
Ever since she dumped that no good dope head boyfriend of hers, Kate Moss and her career have been on a major upswing. The fact that she just landed the latest cover for fashion magazine Purple Fashion just adds to her renewed prowess. Of course the boldness in the picture is really no reflection on the supermodel herself because honestly her own pose, facial expression and even her outfit look really run of the mill. The nude bespeckled male model, however, garners all the attention here in a very escort agency-ad kinda way but hey at least he’s bringing some excitement to the otherwise dead pose!
Last month we reported that top fashion brands were once again bringing back the supermodels of the 1990s to star in new fall ad campaigns for the likes of Prada, Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent and Louis Vuitton.
Vanity Fair has now picked up on the trend, with an eight page story in the new September issue and a photo shoot by Mario Testino (right) featuring Cindy Crawford, Stephanie Seymour, Christy Turlington, Linda Evangelista, Claudia Schiffer and Naomi Campbell.
Though they're all obviously in great shape, Testino somehow makes Seymour look as if she's made entirely of plastic, while the gorgeous Schiffer looks more like a hausfrau than a supermodel. Perhaps the lighting and make-up is to blame. The shoot was originally rumored to be for the magazine's cover, but we can see why they went with Carla Bruni instead.

Omega may have sealed the deal for James Bond's watches but what about the villains. Enter Dr. Swatch, otherwise known as Nicolas G. Hayek. Swatch has created a new collection dedicated just to Bond's antagonists. The new collection will be out next month and will be a tribute to those Bond has sparred with in twenty-two James Bond films, from Dr. No to the forthcoming Quantum Of Solace. Featured villains will include Christopher Walken's Max Zorin, Gerd Froebe's Goldfinger, Lotte Lenya's Rosa Klebb and more. Sounds like fun, I'm just hoping my favorite, Richard Kiel (aka Jaws) has one

We get them whenever we travel but hardly give a second thought to all those plastic keycards from hotels. Sustainable Cards has created wood hotel key cards and they will get their big debut at the Democratic National Convention. Around 70,000 biodegradable key cards will be used in Denver hotels.. The Sustainable Cards will be emblazoned with the Denver 2008 Host Committee logo and made from sustainably harvested wood. Wooden key cards have been used in Europe for years. While it wouldn't seem like such a small item would make a big difference, switching from plastic cards to biodegradable wood can reduce plastic waste equal to the volume of seven 777 airplanes in one year. The company also plans to offer wood gift cards in the future.

Weighing in at just 75 kgs, the GEN H-4 is indeed the world’s smallest one-man helicopter. But, that’s not the most amazing thing about it. What’s really interesting about this flying machine is that it’s actually inspired by the sketch of a vertical flying machine created by Leo Da Vinci in 1493 which was discovered in the 19th century. The creator (or the recreator) of the GEN H-4 is a 75-year old Japanese gent named Gennai Yanagisawa, and though we certainly don’t know the approximation of his design to the Da Vinci sketch, we can certainly inform you that Mr. Yanagisawa’s machine is officially entered in the Guinness World Records as the world’s smallest helicopter that can carry a person. The GEN H-4 features a set of two rotors turning in opposite directions and the incredible machine can reach a maximum speed of 50 kilometers (31 miles) per hour.
