Man jumps 39 stories and lives!!!

September 2nd 2010 14:44
Yes, i thought it was pretty amazing too! He lived in New York City, and he wanted to commit suiced. He decided to jump out of his apartment building, so he jumped. He didnt know that there was a red Dodge Charger parked where he was suppose to land. He hit the back windshield and broke both of his legs. And the story gets more crazy. According to The Today Show, the lady that owned the car just got it fixed and gassed up, and is MAD THAT HE LANDED ON HER CAR. She was quoted saying " Oh why me, out of all the cars in this city, why mine?" Shes pretty much pissed, and if i was in her shoes, id be glad that my car saved this guys life, and just have the insurance pay for the damages!!!!! Some people, i tell ya!!!

My trip to the eye doctor

August 4th 2010 18:51
I went today to get my eyes checked for the first time in about 12 years! Yes a long time has passed since my last one. Well first they put this yellow stuff on my eyes, it burned, then made my eyes go numb. They then put this round little blue light on my eye, and pushed on my eye!!! I guess it was to test the eye pressure. Well then they put the pupil opening drops on them. Boy oh boy.....i couldn't see at all, my vision was super blurry! Anyways, my vision and my eyes are good

I was checking my email, and on my homepage was a very interesting story. The Tuttle Family is selling a farm thats been in their family for 378 years....yes, thats a long time!!! The founding member of the family, John Tuttle came here with a land grant from King Charles I for a spot an the New Hampshire-Maine border. They want to sell it, and a really neat idea would be for the government to buy it out, and make it a historical place. I mean, its been settled and been a far way before we became a country, and some of the original buildings are still there. The government could add an early American museum to the spot, and give tours of the land. It would be a fantastic vacation spot, i know that when i went to General Grants cabin that he had at a house in Virginia i was in heaven!! The house that i visited there was built in 1762, and it was just a surreal experience standing in a house that was built before we became a country

Working at Mcdonalds

July 29th 2010 03:47
So i recently started working at Mcdonalds, and let me tell you....its kinda fun! I used to work there in 2004 when i was done with basic training for the army, but i quit cause i needed to focus more on my school work. I burned myself on the grill a bunch of times on my first day, and today i was making the the sandwiches. It was actually decent, and all the people that work with me are younger so they are pretty cool. But when theres alot of orders come in at once, it gets a little crazy, but other than that its an enjoyable time

My thoughts on making movies

July 27th 2010 16:49
I try my hand at alot of different things, and one of them is making short videos to put up on youtube. I havent made a video to upload in about a year, maybe a little less. I started out making low budget films of feature length. My first one i wrote was about some kids who was doing a school project, and ran into a robber who escaped. He took them hostage. That film never made it to the cameras, because one of the actors in it died from a drug overdose. My next one was an action comedy about some jewel thieves. It was a really good film, but i only developed the idea and never wrote it. I had a few people lined up to write it because i wanted it to be good, but it fell through. So then i decided to get into making short comedy videos for youtube, and that has got me a little bit of success. Imy first video was me ordering taco bell in the voice of elmo, its gotten almost 13,000 views so far. I also did one at mcdonalds, but that one didnt do so well. I have a few ideas for my next few videos that i want to do, and hopefully they will be good enough for everybody

Trying to run an election is hard

July 27th 2010 16:35
When i ran for sheriff of Bay County in 2008, i didnt think that it would be hard. Well, i was wrong. I had just myself setting everything up, and i had nobody to help me. I was way over my head. But i must have done somthing right, because i ended up getting 27 percent of the vote against the incumbent who had 12 years as sheriff under his belt. I want to run for mayor, because our mayor is running for state representative and if he wins, it will leave an opening for mayor. This time i will do everything by the books, hopefully

Girl dies because father prayed

July 31st 2009 16:11
I hope im not opening a can of worms when i tell you how i feel about this story. An 11 year old girl that had undiagnosed diabetes, collapesd on the floor in her Wisconsin home. What did her dad do? He prayed. Now i can understand when you want to pray when your child is sick or somthing, but when your child collapses and is probably in pain, you need to call 911 FIRST. Im sure that his daughter would have survived if her dad would have called 911 before he prayed. Even if i was the most church going person ever, i still would want to call 911 first and help out my kid untill they get here, then i would pray. Heres the link to the story on fox news.....see you when i get back from vacation!!!!!!!

Really Long Link
