Somewhere Tomorrow 1983 Sarah Jessica Parker
Wow! The original version of "The Sixth Sense" really kicked ass! "Somewhere Tomorrow" is the tale of a young teen named Lori ( Sarah Jessica Parker) whose father has just been killed in what is apparently a plane crash. So, enter the gods of cruelty, while she is riding her horse through the woods one day she witnesses a plane crash. After ascertaining the situation and making sure that the pilot's friend is okay, she rushes to the side of the pilot who turns out to be a young horse breeder's son whose parents are boarding Lori's steed for the day (coincindenter, and coincidenter) and, of course, they fall in love. I guess what's supposed to make this movie so intriguing is that the rescued pilot Terry, played by Tom Shea, reveals himself to be a ghost. Yep, Terry was killed in the plane crash. However, this movie completely wrests itself from credibility by providing the viewer with the most annoying "surprise ending" twist that I have ever seen. I could tell you what it is, but it made me so mad I can't write about it without my eyeballs bleeding all over the keyboard. So, have mercy on my eyeballs and go watch the thing yourself.
