Anti-Gravity Propulsion System?

An 'antigravity' propulsion system was proposed at the Space Technology and Applications International Forum (STAIF) in Albuquerque on Febuary 14 by Dr. Franklin Felber. His new exact solution to Einstein's gravitational field equation gives hope to space enthusiasts that it might be possible to accelerate space craft to speeds approaching that of light without crushing the contents of the craft.

Amazing Hubble Photo

This has to rate as one of the best Hubble photos I have seen -- and I've seen some good ones! The glow of the central star cluster illuminating the surrounding dust and gas is stunning.

Scientific American Podcasts

The Scientific American is now offering weekly podcasts with all the latest science news. The first one "reflects on the Korean stem cell debacle; the National Inventors Hall of Fame announces this year's inductees; and evolution defender Eugenie Scott discusses the importance of the decision in the recent Dover evolution trial. Also: hear outtakes from the CSI show you're never going to see on TV". I love the net.

Do I have editorial standards? of course. Nothing like a good stupid crook story: This guy broke into someone's house to steal lots of stuff but while he was there decided to check his email and then forgot to log-off.
