24 year old tiger Mark Coughlan appears to be struggling with his knee injury. His knee has not healed properly after months of rehabilitation. The tigers midfielder who has had his fair share of injures is believed to have harmed his knee after falling over in a shower before christmas. The tiger had a impressive start to his 2006 campaign after having serious problems with his groin. Coughlan was expected to make a full recovery in time for the season opener. The 2003 Jack Dyer medalist will have to await results to see just why his knee isn't improving at the rate expected.
St. Kilda star Nick Riewolt has an anxious wait ahead of him wating results of his injured hamstring. The concern occured whilst training with his fellow team mates.
News just in that Riewolt has only a hamstring strain not a tear as such. Meaning he may only be out for 1-2 weeks.
Thats great new for the saints who have had a vigerous traing program under new coach Ross Lyon. The next question for the saints is who will become the captain for the footy club. Will the saints continue with the rotation policy or opt for a permient option.
