Costly Slip Up for Cogs

February 5th 2007 10:01
24 year old tiger Mark Coughlan appears to be struggling with his knee injury. His knee has not healed properly after months of rehabilitation. The tigers midfielder who has had his fair share of injures is believed to have harmed his knee after falling over in a shower before christmas. The tiger had a impressive start to his 2006 campaign after having serious problems with his groin. Coughlan was expected to make a full recovery in time for the season opener. The 2003 Jack Dyer medalist will have to await results to see just why his knee isn't improving at the rate expected.

Riewolt Injured.

February 1st 2007 09:04
St. Kilda star Nick Riewolt has an anxious wait ahead of him wating results of his injured hamstring. The concern occured whilst training with his fellow team mates.

News just in that Riewolt has only a hamstring strain not a tear as such. Meaning he may only be out for 1-2 weeks.

Thats great new for the saints who have had a vigerous traing program under new coach Ross Lyon. The next question for the saints is who will become the captain for the footy club. Will the saints continue with the rotation policy or opt for a permient option.

Friction At Adelaide?

January 24th 2007 07:26
There is believed to be a bit of friction at the Crows at the moment between Tyson Edwards and Andrew McLeod. McLeod who has whithdrawn from the leadership group for 2007 season along with ex-tiger Jason Torney. McLeod who has had previous fall outs with star tennis player Leyton Hewitt an avid crows fan.

If problems continue to occur into the new season who do the crows let go? Edwards a consistant contributor or the flamboyant Andrew McLeod either way the crows will lose a long time contributor

Captain Analisis

January 23rd 2007 12:22
In this article i make an analysis of the AFL's 16 captains.

Starting with Adelaide's Mark Ricciuto: The crows veteran has another couple of years in him yet. The football the the Roo will play is most likely to be in the forward line with the occasional run in the midfield. Giving the crows flexibility with the other crows stars. Ricciuto will need to kick 30-40 goals next year if the Crows are going to have a crack at the flag in 2007. Ricciuto is a top player and inspirational leader. The Crows lead man will continue his hard work looking forward to perhaps one of his last finals series

Tambling on fire!

January 23rd 2007 07:37
Richard Tambling is set for a ripper year according to senior team mate Joel Bowden. Tambling who has left tiger fans only flash of what his brilliance and skills can offer. The electric young midfielder played in 21 of a possible 22 games lat year and averaged 12 possessions per game. As well as kicking 14 goals for the season. Several of the goals showed his flashy and silky skills. Hopefully a improved season is ahead of himself. Tambling is believed to be apart of the top fifteen players training wise at the moment.

Expect Tambling to take the next step next year along with Nathan 'Axel' Foley a young workhorse. With the emergence of Matthew White last year the tigers will have quite a bit of grunt in the midfield. Look out for the rejuvenated tiger outfit

Coach Reviews

January 17th 2007 11:30
Adelaide: Neil Craig.

Craig's job must be safe if he serves up another solid year. This year he needs to make the next stage the Grand Final. Craig has done a great job with the team he was given and has not made dramatic changes to the list just improvements to the team as a whole
