Johns helps Eels in NRL 2008
January 17th 2008 20:46
Andrew Johns the former Newcastle Knights halfback has linked with the Parramatta Eels in 2008 - joining with old mate and coach Michael Hagan to get the Eels halves of Tim Smith and Brett Finch into the best form for their assault on the anniversary NRL year.
Johns, fresh from his controversy in the latter half of 2007 seems to be happy and keen to get his teeth into the role at the Eels and looks to be taking on more assistant roles at other clubs when the chance arises.
Interestingly, Andrew Johns isn't spending a lot of time with former club the Newcastle Knights - pointing to the chance that he isn't a massive fan of the new regime under Brian Smith.
