A recent study has shown that Australians are getting more over weight then ever. It also has shown that the main reason why young people are getting fatter, is that parents are not educated with the right understanding on what types of food are apporipate to buy. An example of that could be, if a mother goes shopping for cereal. The package has on it in huge letters "98% of fibre"
That's great but what the mother fails to realise is that this particular type of ceral has alot of sugar, hence to much is bad because the unuse sugar is energy but if it's not burnt with exercise, yeah I said excerise, then it turns into fat.
There are numerous factors why our nation is getting more over weight then ever. They are in no particular order, education on how nurition really works for everyone, less advertising for fast food oulets to promote there foods on all types of media, Compulsory exercise at schools for children and teenagers and I think the most important one I have to single out is governments from local, state and federal to make it harder for fast food outlets to promote there food to young kids and teenagers.
