Huge congrats on the upcoming addition to the Hanf household. A little girl - wow! You realize that will begin hating all men in about 14 years. I am certain that her older bros will keep a watchful eye on her, though.

Chuckie - play nice. Why do you feel the need to say that you hate futball (this is real football, BTW - where the tackling is done without pads). You can get your point across without the diss on a sport. And why do you hate it? It doesn't threaten you, does it?

BTW: This talent for the concert will not cost FIFA a dime. All they do is take money in for the World Cup, which is the single largest money making sporting event in the world - followed by the World Track & Field Championships, then the Olympics. (Sorry - Bro, the Super Bowl is further down the list behind European Nations Football Championships and the Champions League Final).

FIFA doesn't even put up any prize money - just a trophy. I wonder how many NFL stars would strap it on for just a trophy .

Actually a correction: Colclough played for the Boston Patriots. He was retired from footbal when he partnered with Joe Willy and Derek. He was a local boy, too. Born in Medford.

Sorry - Chuckie, but I believe that Broadway Joe's preferred scotch was Johnny Walker Red. Back in his "Bachelors III" days (Derek Sanderson was one other 'bachelor'; can you name the third?), he was reported to have said:
"I like my cars fast, my women loose, and my Johnny Walker Red"

Happy 4th to you, Chuckie. I am glad you got to share the experience with your sons for the first time. There's nothing more important than family.

You make a good point and argument for Utley as the top 2B in the Big Leagues, but I am going to make the same argument for Pedie that I make for Bobby Orr regarding these matters:

If you had a team of Gordie Howes, a team of Mario Lemieuxs, a team of Wayne Gretskys, and a team of Orrs, and they played a four team tournament, the team of Orrs wins - not just because Bobby was better; because he played all out, all the time.

The same goes for Pedie. Besides, in a game between Earth and Mars for control of the galaxy, I've got Pedie in my line-up playing 2B, but he's batting 7th because Jeter is in the 2-hole - and Pete Rose is leading off!
