A Bahamas court ruling found yesterday that Larry Birkhead, a former beau of deceased Playboy model Anna Nicole Smith, is her 7 month old daughter Dannielynn's real father.
This comes as a huge surprise to all parties involved as Anna Nicole had previously listed Dannielynn's father to be husband Howard K.Stern on the baby's birth certificate.
However, shortly after Dannielynn's birth in early September, Larry Birkhead emerged saying he was in fact the real father. This was followed by a heated battle between Birkhead, Anna Nicole and Howard K.Stern for several months until Dannielynn's DNA was submitted for a paternity test. Strangely, this was the same day that 39 year old Anna Nicole was found dead in her room in Hollywood, Florida from a lethal drug cocktail overdose. After her death, a third man also claimed that he was Dannielynn's father.
Now that Howard Stern has been ruled out, it means he will lose custody of the baby and the $500 million estate that could be awarded to Dannielynn by default, after her mother fought late husband, oil heir J.Howard Marshall's family for her part in his fortune for over ten years.
Unfortunately, the Anna Nicole Smith saga is nowhere near over. A beneficiary for Anna Nicole's own estate has not been offically named yet, despite Anna Nicole naming Stern in her will. This means there may be more court battles ahead.
An inquest into son Daniel's untimely death at his mother's hospital bedside when his little sister was born is also still been conducted. It is thought that Daniel may have also died from a drug overdose.

Anna Nicole's autopsy results have finally been revealed, 6 weeks after the star's tragic death in Hollywood, Florida in the Hard Rock Hotel.
After much speculation into what exactly killed Anna, including suicide and murder, the coroner found that Anna died from a lethal drug overdose - however, despite what people may think, it was entirely accidental.
According to reports, Anna had been taking up to nine perscription drugs, including some for abdominal pain, that, when mixed together, can be fatal.
Footage from husband Howard K.Stern's laptop found that there was no suspicious activity in the hotel room the night that Anna died
Unfortunately, the chapter has not completely closed on Anna's life, with an inquest into son Daniel's death currently taking place. Daniel also reportedly died from a drug overdose in his mother's hospital room in the Bahamas only hours after his half-sister, later named Danielynn, was born.
Anna and Daniel are buried side by side in the Bahamas.
Blonde bombshell and proud Aussie Cate Blanchett (Notes on a Scandal) has signed on to star in the fourth and possibly final installment of the Indiana Jones story, set for release on May 22, 2008.
While the idea has been in the works for some time now, the new Indiana Jones film has been delayed several times due to script problems and issues with the series' star Harrison Ford (Firewall), who plays a professor with a secret identity and the title character, Indiana Jones.
Beginning in 1981 with 'Raiders of the Lost Ark', the hit movie was followed by 'Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom' in 1984 and the most popular film of the trilogy 'Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade' in 1989.
Dream team Steven Spielberg (Jurassic Park, Schindler's List) and George Lucas (Star Wars) have signed on again as director and producer and after several problems, Harrison Ford has agreed to come back for his role. It is unknown whether Sean Connery (most famous for his role in the early James Bond films), who played Indiana's father in 'Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade', will return to his role in the film. Also rumoured to be returning to their roles in the film are Karen Allen (The Perfect Storm), Indiana's girlfriend in the first film, and John Rhys Davies (Lord of the Rings) as Indiana's friend.
While Cate's role in the film is not yet known, with her classic good looks, Cate will fit in well to the 1930s (or more likely 1950s) set and may play a similar role to that of Alison Doody, as sexy German Else who seduces Indiana in 'Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade'.
One thing that has yet to be proved if Harrison can still put off all the stunts he did 18 years ago when the last film was filmed - after all Indiana and Harrison are getting on in years. There will certainly be no worries about a fan base for the movie with excitement already building in the movie world, and the world awaiting eagerly for the new Indiana Jones film to hit our screens...

According to this week's NW magazine, rumours are rife that there's a 'toy boy' couple around the town...none other than Best Actress winner 2006 Reese Witherspoon and Brokeback Mountain star Jake Gyllenhaal.
The two are thought to have got together while on the set of their new movie Rendition in November and have been inseperable ever since. Britney Spears' crazy behaviour, particularly her binge drinking, since the birth of second son Jayden and subsequent divorce from low-life husband Kevin Federline has now been blamed on post natal depression, it was discovered this week.
After returning to rehab in Los Angeles for the third time in as many weeks, doctors have now diagnosed Spears with the disorder. However, there are also fears that Britney may also be suffering from bipolar disorder
