Those of you who have seen 2012 will be sadly disappointed. The End that is coming is to the current economic system. Fiat currency is going to fail, and soon, with the US Dollar leading the way. The back breaker for the US dollar is going to be this horrific Health Care bill the Democrats are about to ram down everyone's throat. Every Democrat that opposed it got a little something added onto the bill to entice them to change their vote. What's really funny is that no one has read the whole thing, yet they are voting on it tonight. This half-baked, poorly thought out solution is yet another example of why the government should let the marketplace dictate solutions, instead of more regulation by the government. Between this bill, the 150 bank failures just this year, and the Federal Reserve's constant printing of money, the dollar will fail within the next 18 months. Hope you're buying lots of silver and gold, brothers and sisters, because times they are a changing. The only good thing to come out of this will be a return to more closely following the Constitution, and letting the world do what they want, instead of what the US government wants them to do. I just hope too many people don't suffer during the transition when it comes. Enjoy your health care, while it lasts...
President Bush and the Republican Congress expanded government more than any administration in history. They also laid the basic foundations for a future police state. Now, President Obama and the Democratic Congress have . . .
* Retained, and in some cases expanded, all the Bush-era policies -- the wars, the PATRIOT Act, warrantless spying, REAL ID, imprisonment without due process, extraordinary rendition, etc.
* Begun to extend the already existing foundations for a future socialist state with things like direct government ownership of businesses, the health care bill, cap and trade, and a host of other measures big and small.
Put the Bush and Obama policies together, sprinkle in a couple more terrorist attacks, and one or two more state-caused financial calamities, and you have a recipe for . . .
* The destruction of American liberty
* The blossoming of a Leviathan State
Read the signs . . .
We are living through a Statist revolution.
Statism is a mindset that prefers coercion to cooperation. Statists love the State because they are blind to its fundamental nature . . .
* The State is a monopoly that you cannot easily fire, replace, or even control
* Everything the State does relies on coercion
If you decide that . . .
* You don't want to pay for, or be subject to, the new health care plan, or that . . .
* You prefer to buy and sell using gold and silver instead of Federal Reserve Notes, or that . . .
* You want to do, or not do, a host of other things that the politicians either require or prohibit,
* Then eventually a policeman will come to your door and threaten you with a gun, to make you submit
People who advocate expansive State action are really saying, "I think you should be threatened with, or actually suffer violence, if you don't fund my pet schemes, or live the way I think you should."
Such people would never go door to door pointing a gun at their neighbors, but the second-hand mechanism of the State allows them to hide their eyes from the violence implicit in what they profess.
Our government was founded to limit this kind of coercion. The American State was given two main functions . . .
* To punish coercion committed by one citizen against another
* To deter coercion by foreign States
Beyond that, nearly the entire Constitution is devoted to prohibiting State violence. This was the purpose of the divisions of power, the checks and balances, and the Bill of Rights. But now those protections lie in tatters.
Everyone is trying to use the State to live at the expense of everyone else, or to micro-manage their neighbors. Our traditional culture of individual liberty, personal responsibility, and peaceful, non-violent cooperation, is slowly dying. We are nearing a point where it may even die completely, suddenly, when we least expect it. As a result . . .
I am prepared to predict the end of Statism.
The reason is simple. Statism doesn't work. The violence at its heart always . . .
* Destroys more than it creates
* Multiplies its victims, who become increasingly deperate enough to resist
Eventually the Police will point their guns at enough people and they will revolt and start making the necessary changes. You can help make those changes start today by contacting all your elected representatives and telling them you do not support Statism and if they truly represent you then they will stop spreading the government's control. Email them one day, call their offices the next and keep letting them know that you are watching what they do and what you want them to do to truly represent you.
Does anyone really believe that Sen Baucus Health Care plan is going to REDUCE the deficit? If you do, then I have some land I would like to sell you that's going to be worth a fortune someday!
When has the Federal government EVER done anything more effectively than the private sector? I know of no instances where it has happened. Government programs are ALWAYS full of fraud and cost overruns. ALWAYS! It's interesting to read the headlines about these bills. They are fraught with words like 'rushing' and 'hurrying' and 'quickly'. Why would any of these words be applicable to a bill that is THOUSANDS of pages long and quite the most complex piece of legislation every attempted? Legislation like this is going to be a train wreck if only because of the rush to get something in place, as opposed to taking a few years to develop it and think it through.
If the Congress somehow gets something passed, it will be a very dark legacy they leave behind them. First, the legislation is unconstitutional because it REQUIRES BY LAW that everyone carry health insurance. Where's the freedom? What if my religion prohibits me from seeking medical treatment? The government would be REQUIRING me to go against my religious beliefs, which in this case are not all that unreasonable.
Second, the only reason the bill appears to be able to reduce the deficit is through some bookkeeping sleight of hand by Sen. Baucus and his crew. The true cost is not 0, but over 2 TRILLION dollars!
There are a plethora of reasons this is wrong, and if just that fact alone doesn't dissuade you from supporting this botched plan, then you deserve what you are going to get.
Most people accept the Federal Reserve - the manager of the nation's money stock -- as an indispensable institution that the United States cannot function without. However, I can assure you that it is irresponsible, ineffective and ultimately useless. If you want to know what the Fed is and what it does, I recommend attending some economics lectures at your local college, or try reading Ron Paul's new book, 'End the Fed'. Either one will leave you chilled to the bone when you realize that the Fed is actually the cause of most of our economic downturns.
The number one reason it causes economic downturns is due to it's one unique power - the ability to create paper money out of thin air. Considering that one half of every commercial transaction is money and that entire cultures rise and fall based on the quality of their money, this is an awesome power, and one that most of you do not realize or normally think about.
The recent economic crisis and bailout are a perfect example. All the bailout did was reward companies that made bad business decisions. The crisis would have been over quickly and the market would have adjusted itself and things would have been fine. Instead, the Fed felt it necessary to bailout it's good buddies in the market with some of our tax dollars. And they did it by creating money out of thin air. Here are the numbers(in the BILLIONS!) supplied by the Fed showing the massive increase in the money supply

In case you didn't notice, the President and Congress are starting to listen to us. The President changed his fraudulent number of 47-50 million uninsured Americans to 30 million. It's still a fraudulent number, but it shows he is starting to listen. He also offered to drop the public option, which would eventually result in government control of our health care. It just shows, pressure works.
And we need to keep that pressure up. We need to tell them a few more things that need to be fixed. Tell the politicians that the 30-million number is also inflated, because many of the people in that group can afford health insurance, they just don't want to pay for it. And frankly, who can blame them given that the prices are inflated by government mandates. Health insurance in many places is simply a bad deal.
Tell the politicians that almost everyone could afford health insurance if only the federal government would allow individuals and employers to buy health insurance across state lines, thereby avoiding state mandates that make insurance too expensive.Let them know that we know that government insurance co-ops will eventually lead to the same result as the so-called "public option." No government insurance co-ops

Robert Kahre is facing up to 296 years in prison. His crime? He hired workers on mutually-agreed terms, and paid them in gold and silver dollars rather than in Federal Reserve dollars.
First, some background

First, I want to state that I am a Libertarian. I was just as vocal when the Bush Administration was in power as I am now. I just didn't have this blog. So when you post your comments, don't make the ASSUMPTION that I was in favor of most anything done by the previous administration either. I am just sick and tired of being lied to! Obama is no different from Bush in that regard. He promised us more accountability and transparency in the government, and proceeds to do everything behind closed doors! Now for today's blog.
One of the things we are hearing about right now is the 'Public Option'. It sounds good, but then the politicians are great at giving bad ideas good names. It's really a Trojan Horse that will lead to socialized medicine. The "public option" is tax-subsidized government insurance that would charge lower premiums than private companies could afford to match -- that's the whole point of the tax subsidy. This would eventually drive private health insurance out of business, leaving us with a "single payer" government system. The so-called "single payer" would really be ALL taxpayers, because taxes would fund all health care. In other words, public-option equals single-payer equals socialism.
I also need to address the cost of this plan. The CBO (Congressional Budget Office) has estimated the cost of this program at 1.2 TRILLION dollars. But that's not the whole story. Their estimate is only for the period of time BEFORE full implementation of the plan. The actual cost will be at LEAST 50% higher than that! Plus this healthcare plan imposes many other hidden costs that are not reflected in the federal budget. This is one of the tricks Republican Governor Mitt Romney used to pass his train-wreck health care bill in Massachusetts, and now the Democrats in Congress are pursuing the same fraudulent course. The big health care bill imposes mandates on the states, on employers, and on individuals. These mandates will result in massive expenses, NONE of which are included in the CBO's estimate that the bill will cost taxpayers $1.2 trillion over 10 years. State governments will have to spend more on Medicaid, which you will pay through higher state taxes or increased debt. Many employers will have to buy health insurance for their workers, or pay a fine to the government. These increased costs to employers may result in lower wages or increased unemployment -- probably both. Individuals who don't currently have health insurance will have to buy such insurance, by law

The more we say we don't want this Healthcare package the president is pushing, the more they want us to have it. It's like dealing with children with ADHD. Now they are going out and talking to us regular people about it, and when we boo them, they say we are organized knights who say nee and that we don' really represent the people. What a bunch of idiots! They don't hear us because they don't WANT to hear us, and they aren't going to start listening to us anytime soon. Maybe if the millions of us that don't want this all go to Washington on the same day and tell them, THEN they will hear us! They will probably say something like, 'Oh, we didn't realize...', even though we have been screaming at them for the past 2 months. People, I am afraid we are going to have to act on this one to stop it from happening. The closed door sessions and secret committee meetings continue even now, and the Democratic leadership is saying they have a plan in place to use some legislative shenanigans to push this through even without a majority. You must continue to call your government employees(representatives) and keep telling them you don't want this plan, you want real Health care reform in the form of tax write-offs for health care expenditures. If they pass this they will be raising taxes right behind it to pay for it! Fight Obama-Care!
Whenever I read that the President is meeting with this group or the other to 'Rally' them for his health plan, I know what it really means. It means he is trying to find out what kind of bribe he can offer them to get them to agree to this plan. You know why? Because the plan stinks! The doctors don't like it, the hospitals don't like it and we don't like it. If you want to see what government run health care looks like, you need look no further than the VA. Talk about a nightmare! Infections spread like wildfire, mis-diagnosis and mistakes run rampant throughout the entire system. It's a total train wreck and nationalized health care will be too!
The government is not capable of running a successful program. Name one program they have run successfully for any length of time. You can't because it has never happened. This is just one more aspect of our lives that think they are smarter than us. They think they should have the right to tell us what we can and can't fo with our own bodies. Call your government employees in the congress and senate today and reiterate to them that you do not want their health care plan. Just let us write off what we spend on health care insurance on our taxes, regardless of where we get it.
Ah, summer time is here and the Democrats have decided to welcome it by circulating a draft proposal of how they are going to kill two birds with one stone, literally. They have a plan to destroy Health Care AND the budget in one fell swoop. At a cost of 1 TRILLION dollars, they are going to force each and every American to get Health insurance (or else!) They don't specify what the or else is yet, but it's probably some form of public execution. I guess in their infinite wisdom (because we know how many other problems they have successfully solved with legislation!), they have decided that forcing the Health insurance companies to cover everyone and not charge any more for pre-existing conditions is the way to go and telling them how much they CAN charge is better than the free market. That way everyone shares in the cost of covering people who have no interest in taking care of themselves. Seems kind of communistic and stupid to me.
It's half-cocked at best and really just a joke. This plan WILL ruin the health care insurance industry and break the government bank in the process. I for one think it is the only way to get the changes needed in the government. Show them that there are limits. Let them go bankrupt and maybe then they will see the light. They no longer represent us, they represent the few, the lobbyists, the rich and the powerful. But don't worry. Things will be changing soon. They will have to when the money runs out. But continue to call your employees in congress and the senate and express your thoughts on these matters. That way they can't say we didn't tell them.
