Jason Taylor hits panic button at South Sydney for NRL 2008
Its finally happened, Jason Taylor has hit the panic button as the South Sydney Rabbitohs horror 2008 NRL season crashes from bad to worse.
Already choosing to chop and change several key star plays and play other squad members in different positions, Taylor has now chosen to blood a total rookie in Chris Sandow as he struggle to get the sides 2nd NRL win for the 2008 season.
Many feel it might be external pressures, maybe from Russell Crowe or other sources inside the South Sydney Rabbitohs club, but with John Lang now on board you would have thought that Taylor would have been advised to pick a strong, experienced half back and stay with him for a least a few weeks to give the team some direction.
The likes of David Kidwell and Dean Widders have been well below their best and their standing in the side deserves discussion, however with so many new faces and a total rookie running the show it seems Souths have really written off this year and are looking to next year.
A shame for their sponsors NAB (National Australia Bank) and their fans as they struggle to keep upbeat about a side that continues to struggle no matter what.
The Bunnies face a tough task tomorrow night, in Friday Night Football they must beat the NZ Warriors to get their NRL Results and NRL Table position back into good shame, and they must do it fast or the year is gone.
