This trip was with my pal Shawn -- whose blog I'm unashamedly linking to and hoping he won't mind. <3
On my agenda is to ready the Game Boy Camera photos from this trip for photowidgeting ASAP.
Anyway. We landed in Tokyo -- and he'd never been to Japan. You should've seen his face when we emerged in Shibuya.
We bought seishun18 kippu and trained like crazyfolk all over Japan, from Tokyo to Nagasaki. These pictures chronicle our (mis)adventures.
Now, Chris and I won't really have as much time to do anything similar. We likely won't be buying any kind of rail pass -- which means we'll be very likely limited to Tokyo, Chiba, Yokohama, Kamakura, and (hopefully) Enoshima for our trip. I had really hoped to see the Touhoku area for the first time -- but it isn't looking good. Strangely, I've never been to Nara and had really hoped to've gone, but I think I'll be needing to cancel that one out, too.
