jam

October 30th 2011 14:27
I sit with the masses
Waiting for the light,
I weave amongst the metal
To get me home tonight.
I think about my dinner
The bills I have to pay,
I’m thankfull work is over
For another day.
Blinded by the quest
To get from A to B,
All surrounding beauty
I have failed to see.
Whether it be the tree
Engulfed by sun it trusts,
Or the girl who sits beside me
Who displays her ample bust.
I can take the path of anger
Concentrate on time,
My mouth projecting filth
My middle finger primed.
Or I can take it easy
My music is at hand,
I possess all the ingredients
To make a traffic jam.
