I found orble by accident and think it's neat.

About Me
35 year old single man in a small southwestern town.
I'm an artist/musician, and one project I will do once is be in a cover band but change the words a little of the songs we cover.
for example Here's how my version of the System of a Down hit would go:
"eating seeds as a pastime activity,
the toxicity, of our village"
And of course it would have a music video to go with it; of some guy complaining about the negative side effects of living on a small isolated island village somewhere. lol
Hey, that sounds like the small southwestern town I live in!
My real name is Sean.

on VAST - One of the Greatest Bands of All Time

On another note, 16 years ago was when I first saw them, perform in Oregon in front of a crowd of only 200 people . I saw them 6 times the next 21/2 years and was in the front row each time. back then they were getting started, not putting on 3 day festivals drawing 120,000 people. It was a thrill to watch such a great band (in my eyes) grow like that.

Come to think of it, maybe it was ME! My good looks and yelling! Maybe if I hadn't gone to those concerts, Phish would have never made it big. YAAAYYYYYYYYY!

thanks for the heads up!

Your from australia? What do they think of Phish (the band) in your parts? They are who I never get tired of.

They have this concert DVD called LIVE in BROOKLYN that I've watched 50 times and never gets old. It starts out with a crowd of 25,000 or so people at Dodger's Stadium in full daylight, yet with only 45 minutes of daylight left.
So the first 45 minutes, it slowly gets darker, and the band's million dollar light show begins to blink. At the end of Set 1, it is completey dark except for the apparrent shaceship hovering above the band (The lightshow)
Then Set 2 continues, with a surprise guest visit "Jay-Z" to rap "99 Problems", to an all white hippiesh crowd.
(Phish is not a rap band)
Maybe you should rent or buy this DVD jason , noone else will listen to me about it

I am in recovery from 15 years of severe social anxiety, mild depression, and pszycho-effective disorder. When this blog was originally posted, a few days after thanksgiving, I was in the local mental hospital for the 5th time in 15 years. Don't feel bad, It was the vacation i needed after isolating for so long. but anyways, I'm doing much better and am on the road to rejuvination, but This blog post nailed the mark. I'll be doing fine until the black dog shows up to visit, and then bam. it's like he brings his friend the red cat, which makes me curse and break things. Then I cry and wonder if I have made any progress or not. So anyways, thanks for the post, Morgan, your looking good, and hopefullly I remember to eat that french banana everyday. Can you get french bananas at Albertsons? LOL

Thanks for that post, I've been spinning around issues
for years, now I know what to spin around.
The blog inspired me to do this computer painting.
The paintings up above are very nice to me, also.
