Swimming with a dolphin & other adventures

Left home for a birthday adventure to Orlando on March 19,2011.I had a great trip planned including Universal Islands of Adanture,Universal Studios, Sea World and Discovery Cove.

The flight went great even though I was the random one that got a personal patdown. lol My driver was very nice and talkative on the way to the hotel.The Quality Inn Standard was perfect for my needs.after settling inn I went to the hotel minimart for drinks and snacks.They have a reservation desk for free shuttle to the area parks,a bar with pool tables and nightly entertainment, a resturant and several couches and little tables and chairs in the lobby.

March 20 I walked to Universal to enjoy a day at Islands of Adventure.It was under a 2 mile walk and I was so excited I had energy to spare.I had breakfast reservation at the three Broomsticks near the Hogwarts Express.The Harry Potter ride was amazing as you maybe able to tell by the look on my face.

2007 Clear Water beach Florida

I wanted to head to Hawaii for my my birthday this year but it looks like I will be going back to cali instead. It is just more cost effective to head to cali in March.

The adventurers of Shaniqua and Sha Na Na

Have you ever met anyone so much like you the two of you thought you had to be separated at birth even though you were born ten years apart? Seems like a crazy thought but that is the story of Shaniqua and Sha Na Na. They should have met long before 2007. They crossed paths many times before meeting and becoming friends.

Shaniqua practically lived at Cortland Skating Rink from the time she was 6-16 and several times a year after that. Sha Na Na was also an avid skater at Cortland Skating Rink. Sha Na Na has family she visits in Virginia Beach. Shaniqua has family that lived in Virginia Beach for a few years that she visited several times. The closest they ever were without meeting was the MTV campus invasion Tour with Wyclef Jean and Black Eyed Peas. They both met Black Eyed Peas before the show. They were both at the show with hundreds of others or more. It just must not have been the time and place for these two girls to be friends yet.

Coexsisting with coworkers

Coexsisting with coworkers

I work retail. I was on a the 9th hour of a 6 day stretch when I had a personality(?) conflict with a coworking, Lynda, I hardly ever work with. I had only worked with her 3 times since she had started in November of 2006. I was really tired and my team had started folding all the tables about hour before close. Things were looking like we would be done by 10pm after closing at 9pm.

Like most girls I rooted for Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson throughout the trilogy. I loved when M.J. said, “go get’em tiger”. A woman should support her man an encourage him to do his best at whatever job he has to do. But I knew her words would come back to haunt her.

bar hoppin' and bad music

I've been known to dance on a table, stage, speakers. Sometimes even when I'm sober just to have some fun...but that's a story for another time...no music or people encouraged me to do such a thing friday.

We started off at Up A Creek in Howland, where I grewup ( I grew up in Howland not the bar). It was packed. I've seen it more packed, but not much. I think it was the house band playing. Unfortunately, I forget the name of whoever was play. But I do remember the band that sucked later...I had a Captain & Coke. We only stayed a bit before hitting the next place.
