Front Door - December 2008

It's beginning to look a lot like...

Christmas.

This is my attempt at an 'artistic' christmas tree - minimalist, chic, and understated.

Branches were carefully selected from the garden so that 'precious' birds and 'elegant' dangles could be artfully placed to create a 'seasonal point of focus' in the living room.

Now here is Mr Front Door's attempt.

I would like to draw your attention to the fact that not only do we have a nativity scene, complete with straw and desert, but also a snow laden village. To top this all off, an english steam engine encirles the masterpiece on black tracks. So basically, we have every christmas scenario covered.
