It is Pina Colada time baby!
The year is slowly winding its way down and coming to an end for the 27th time for me. 27 times the numbers on my clock have turned back to zero to start all over again and a fresh, clean slate presented like some great award at a fancy ceremony. Thoughts have been bouncing around excitedly - "What will you do with it? What colours will you choose to paint it with? What pictures will you put onto it to make your collage of life ever more beautiful?" And life is
beautiful?
isn`t it
So as the days turn to hours that begin to start their merry dance and welcome in the new year I thought I would stick a great big ear on my fresh new canvass. That ear symbolises my new-January resolution. (New Year resolutions are hard for me to keep to so I try and make new-January ones instead and just hope after 30 days the habit sticks!) One that will hopefully remind me to listen more. There are so many sounds out there that we miss because we don`t listen. Have you ever noticed how differently the world sounds when you have a power cut? Or when the night chases away the day and the darkness consumes the world?
SO I`m starting the celebrations a little early - carry on the party into the wee hours of New Years day - its going to be a big one! Jamie Cullum is playing away on the CD player, the light from the candles is flickering around the room and the blender is whizzing up some pina coladas. It`s a fancy dress party this one - come dressed as your new years resolution. Don`t you like my earring? It is a bit dangly, I may have to take it out incase I trip over it after a few of these cocktails.
(Oh yes if you want a recipe for Pina Colada's:
Blend together Bacardi, Malibu, Pineapple Juice, Pineapple Pieces, Cream, Coconut Cream and Ice. Serve in a Pina Colada glass with Cherry and Pineapple to garnish.)

Ars Poetica
I've never made a pina, i have no idea, so i'll take your word for it... *sip* mmm that's all i care about, tastes gooood....
loved reading 'The Walrus and The Carpenter'
there is many kinds of listening, but more about that later... life can be beautiful sometimes, oui!!

That`s ok we will stick you up the front of the room and we can do the sticking of the inspiring thing. Hopefully you will be able to get out of bed so that you can join in the festivities. It would simply not be a party if you weren`t there.
I love 'The Walrus and the Carpenter' - 'tis a tale with many lessons to be learned.
Oui, oui mon amie, c'est tres vrai! Life is beautiful some of the time. We can get to that discussion in the wee morning hours, as the sun begins to tint the sky of a brand new day.

How did you guess? Was it the sway in my step

it all away???
Yeah I have a telescope, not a fancy shmancy one but
it does the trick! I don`t have a balcony but I do have
water at the end of my garden. We can go on the
grass and check out the new additions to the sky.
When I was young I went on a camp and we went to
