Is there life on Mars!!!

......Well if there is I bet they are looking forward in the world of fashion not living on a planet like Earth which has gone 'Vintage'
Yes, I am not happy about the claim vintage is new or fashionable - in my world its old, sweaty and wrong. I have spent many a year convincing my dad to finally bin his 70s clothes and buy some new ones; its time to update his look. I have now woke up in a world that claims my 'rents are now the most fashionable people in the world; my dad is the new John Travolta.
I'm not bitter or anything; ok I may be but that is not the case. I am happy in a world that you buy new clothes and wear them until they need replacing but at no point did I think kids wearing hand me downs in school would become Britain's next top models; Oxfam would be the new Prada or the charity shop on the corner would become the new Milan fashion week. What next, are we going to send the content of the local Gucci shop to help the less fortunate?
Other than the world being turned upside down and most men in their 50s/60s now being the pinnacle of fashion I have real concerns about wearing somebodies old clothes - these clothes could of been anywhere and sweated in by anybody, this makes me not want vintage but don't worry I have now found out that fashion houses are creating new clothes that look old - yes we'll charge you £60 for something that looks 30 years old, its retro!
Thats my 2nd rant over - I will wear my average clothes despite not being in fashion and not being in the 'in' crowd but believe me I will have the last laugh in 2036 when I a back in fashion Mwoooaaaa!!!!
