Is Freud’s theory about Women as Imbalanced as Himself?
Freud’s main flaw is that he misunderstood women and this effected how he thought psychoanalysis should be applied to women. What I think was primarily caused by his own conflicted relationship with his own mother and her extra-marital affairs. Thus as result effected how he wrote about, felt about and dealt with women in general. This is where he found it impossible to delineate between men’s and women’s sexual needs, fulfillment and desires.
