Obligatory introduction for the sake of insincere courtesy

Howdy. This is me, Nathan P. Mahney, your guide to all things in the realm of the nerd. This is not your friendly guide NerdBlog as indicated above, because I wasn't paying attention when the Orble instructions told me I'd only get one shot at my tag. So I'm stuck with the wrong one, because I have no practical skills beyond rolling dice. I know it looks retarded, but please don't bug me about it. I'll cry.
I'm a nerd. A geek. Or as I like to describe it, I'm 'pop-culturally advanced'. I'm that guy at parties who has the answer when everyone's wondering, "What was that movie where Schwarzenegger killed a guy with an ice cream cone?". I read comic books, I watch Doctor Who and Star Trek and Dragon Ball Z, I play Dungeons & Dragons, and I have never ever kissed a girl. (Note - one of these stereotypes is untrue - a no-prize to the first person to write in with the correct answer!).
So that's me, and that's what I'll be wasting digital ink upon in the coming days, months, and possibly years if I continue to waste my life on such frivolous pursuits. A lot of my posts will be reviews, especially of comic books, because that's what I read, mostly. (Well, it kills time between readings of Proust and Baudelaire, you know...) Other than that it should be a whole lot of ranting, wavering between mouth-frothing threats of bodily harm and sycophantic babbling and hero-worship. You know, the kind of conversation that drives normal people out of the comic shop.
(Oh yeah, Arnie stabbed a guy through the back of the head with an ice cream cone in The Last Action Hero. God that movie kicks ass.
