Is it possible that drug overdoses are actually unlikely? This article article claims that Amy Winehouse's death may have been inevitable. Anti-drug information suggests that heavy drug use can lead to overdose, yet many hard addicts rarely die of an overdose.
Although we can assume Winehouse may have died of an overdose, this has not actually been determined and the world is left to speculate. The article is something to think about because many people may die from pre-existing conditions rather than the drug use.
This is not to say that overdose does not lead to death, but it makes you wonder how other heavy drug users can go through life unscathed.
