In Watery Dreams We Swim ...

Oceans, rivers, waterfalls,
seas, lakes and tiny rock pools...
they appear and disappear,
time and tide again...
throughout my own dreamtime
....water meandering...
Sometimes, giant waves,
Swamp distant shores,
Whilst on balmy nights ..
…peacefully the waves lap,
…beyond my door...
Some times menacing…
It can rain, it can pour
A Tsunami has hit me,
And completely,
Taken my breath…
It even killed me,
…yet…
Hair whipped back,
Speed boat racing,
I’ve watched golden floods recede,
Sailed out on inky-pearl seas,
Moonlit nights... when,
... I’ve met the Ferryman,
paying him ten...
for fear of being thrown in...
...to be washed up ..again,
..on foreign shores...
I’ve crossed vast silver rivers,
Climbed high on golden bridges...
swimming with fishes,
.. and porpoise, alike…
Skated on ice,
..and sailed blue oceans
...on junks...
Waded and paddled in water...
of every hue ... and,
... under every sun ...
I’ve dived headlong into pink oceans,
with big red waves,
..blindly, with no understanding..
unable to see a reason...
Swimming with dream-sharks,
Who steal all my meaning…
…in waters of turbulent dread.
...but I’ve struggled on...
Night after night time,
..or in my day-dreams, instead..
One single thought,
left wondering,
Where does it lead... and,
Does it end?
I know you so well,
Along with the dream-dolphins,
Who are my friends…
We’ve shared and played,
Together, from our beds.
In our dream-seas ..
and nocturnal Oceans,
We’ve shared laughter,
on every beach,
Under bright green suns…
With creatures of every shade,
Looking on …
In every sea and every land…
We’ve swum,
Except for one.
Reserved exclusively,
A special swim…
For you and me,
For that time,
..In this reality…Has yet to come...
For the long swim,
Together,
...back into infinity…
as one.

...and me you... my other life took me away over Easter, to a distant shore, alright - as extended family always seems surreal and wierder than fiction to me? maybe *lol* ... but it was fantastic too...

I’ve got all my responses out of order tonight… I am very tired and just in from working and driving all day... cannot even try to be witty...*lol*&$#!&!~
Yes butterflies are free and airborne, are they not? One of the first contradictions of most Aqua-made's ...aaah but in the realm of dreams .... even butterflies can swim!
It is very interesting what you say, because I have the same problem with many blogs – not to mention no notification on my old posts – which are all tagged as a ‘Yes…’ it is so frustrating and feels like someone is rigging the whole system against me sometimes?
