I met Kathy in 10th grade. My family had just moved to Florida from NY state. She and her friend Debbie became the first friends I had there..A little over a year after high school,she invited me over to her house. I met her brother..he asked me out that day and we've been together ever since.

Kathy Ann Farrington Lyons
LYONS, Kathy Ann Farrington 53, passed away Jan. 31, 2012 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home surrounded by her family after her 3 year battle with breast cancer. Kathy was born Aug. 16, 1958 in Granville, NY. Her parents were Harold & Marilyn Farrington (deceased) and stepmother Joan Farrington. Kathy had many siblings; Sharon Young, Debbie Lacoste, Bruce Farrington (deceased), Karen Farrington Knight, Carl Farrington, Keith Farrington, Gary Farrington and Michael Farrington. Kathy was married to her high school sweetheart Buddy Lyons on Dec. 6, 1984 in Edina, MO. Kathy is survived by her five children, Lisa Givens, Robert Lyons, Buddy Lyons, Jr., Terry Lyons, and Brian Lyons as well as her loving canine companion "Lexi". Kathy is also survived by several grand-children, Hillary and Jackson Givens, Claire and Brendan Lyons, Shane and Neva Lyons and Xander. Services will be private. The family would like to send their deepest gratitude to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem, NC, for the excellent care & sincere compassion that the whole staff showed in their time of need.

Truth - Respect - Decency
You are personally honored by me for giving tribute to your spouses sister. By your personal action we know she was a person to be recognized as someone of high value while she lived in this life.
