I'm the worst blogger EVER

July 19th 2011 20:10
Thanks to Orble, I know that it has been 131 days since I wrote my last blog entry. Everyone needs a break sometimes, but I only have two entries. I know, I suck.

Like most projects I've started ever, life has gotten in the way. My oldest is starting kindergarten next month. His birthday is in September and he missed the cutoff to start last year. He is SOOO beyond ready to get going and away from the boring house. My youngest is into everything, I'm just trying to keep the little dare-devil in once piece. My hubby is self employed with a weekly radio show. I play soundboard to every though that comes through his brain. Overwhelmed is an understatement. Throw in the fact that we moved in a 3 week time span (from knowing we were moving to movers showing up!), and you start to see a crazy little picture.

We love the new house, nice big tree in the back yard and we can walk to school. And it is a NEW new house, which is always fun. I just love that the toilets were perfectly clean. I've been able to keep them that way, dispite the efforts of every boy in the house that needs target lessons. Speaking of which, the baby has been trying to use the toilet. He won't be 2 until the end of October and I just don't think he's really ready for potty training yet. Maybe when he can observe the process and not try to catch the stream with is hands I'll reconsider.

Sounds like naptime is over, let's cross our fingers that I'll be back in less than 131 days.

What are we having for dinner?

March 10th 2011 00:49
My husband asks me this question everyday. Sometimes, it's during breakfast. While I love to cook, I cringe when I hear these words because he makes it feel like a chore. We've actually discussed my irritation extensivly, and he says he just wants to remind me to think about it.

1) I'm not a child.

2) I stay at home with the kids, it's not like I'll be getting home late from work and not know what to make.

3) He's not a child & I don't want to hear him complain about what I'm planning on making.

4) I'm always open to suggestions & requests.

No one ever has, or ever will, starve in my house.

With that being said, we're having pot roast.

First Post-Go Me

My name is Jennifer, and I'm a virgin blogger. Expect ramblings about the kids, food that I'm cooking, and whatever other random thing that pops into my mind.
