So. Life.

...I'm not sure if I mentioned it, but I have a boyfriend. He's really nice and we're happy together; we do love each other. We spent all weekend together, actually, and it was probably the best weekend I've had in a good long time. The anniversary of Daddy's death passed just last week and he was there for me the whole time. I was so glad to have him with me.
Other than that, life is going somewhat well in certain aspects. I'm getting back on track with my writing, especially my blogging (hence my presence). I'm starting to have a life again, now that my beloved internet is back. I'm in the midst of my usual life, once again, writing, blogging, and hanging out with friends. Everything is slowly returning to normal after complete upheaval.
And I'm enjoying my life's return to its usual course. I'm really enjoying it. You know, I'm happy right now; I'm happy exactly where I am and with the people I am with. The course my life is taking, for once, seems to be an uphill one. The move is completely over, I'm happy, I'm writing again (there was a two month slump), I'm blogging again.
I've somehow managed to reach the point of happiness I had never enjoyed in the last two years except twice. I can only pray that things don't take a downhill rush like they did after Christmas Break last year. That was a wonderfully dramatic time.
Anyway. Life is looking up. I'm going to write and submit something by the end of this month. My new goal is to submit a story somewhere once a month, and to have a new story written every month. That's my biggest goal right now, other than the novel completion. I'm really going to work towards having my novel submitted to an agent by my fifteenth birthday.
For once, life looks up; and somehow I foresee peace and prosperity, even if only for a small period of time. And I know that it's not a lie this time. There will be hell soon, as Akhet begins, but it is beginning slowly. And it will begin with a time of good luck and prosperity for all the pieces of the puzzle-for Akhet is a combination of ups and downs. It does involve finding and pursueing passions, discovering true callings, and taking important steps on those journeys; but Akhet also involves pain, passion... many things...
And I'm looking forward to this thing... call me crazy, but I need a little excitement in my life.
