When will the people of Australia ever learn and not to listen to the rubbish that the Liberal party of Australia dribble out of their mouths.

After the Shadow Treasurer Joe Hockey said on Thursday to reporters in Sydney that the "Prime Minister Kevin Rudd will never deliver a surplus budget and 300,000 workers will lose their jobs under Labor".

Wake up Joe and get your hand off something. Rudd did not cause the Australian recession, he did not cause the world recession, it was a foregone conclusion that Australia was going to be in a recession, the only question needed answering was how bad will Australia be hit.

Any half decent human being would tell you, Australia follows America. If something hits the American economy, six months later it will hit here. If Australia did not fall into a recession by March, the country may have by passed it.

With Prime Minister Rudd admitting yesterday that Australia was in a recession, I think came one month later than it should, by this, I do not think Australia will be badly hit than most countries have been around the world. Australia is in a good position to come out of this slowly by the end of this year, 2009.

Ofcourse Hockey, there are going to be job losses of upto 300000 people, it is a god damn recession, maybe it would not have been this bad if the ex-government being your party did not stuff this country and neglected infrastructure, skill and education. This is going to cost Australians so much more in the long run.

To add further, Rudd too can deliver a surplus budget if he sells of Australian assets, just like the ex-government did under John Howard. There would not be much more to sell off, I dont think.

The stimulus packages that the current government have given out to the public and to spend on infrastructure, really have not taken full affect either, you also have to think of that. The public still have not received the monies. The monies spent on the infrastructure promised has not been given out. I honestly think Australia has two good quarterly results coming up in the later stage of this year.

To add further to the stimulus packages, all of the top economy countries have handed out stimulus packages. The Australian stimulus is absolute peanuts compared to its overseas counterparts. If the leading world economies are handing out stimulus packages, the most descent thing is too follow suit, not to go alone and do the opposite that the previous government did.

I suggest Hockey and Trunbull that you sit back on your fat arses that did not do much for the past 11 years, and keep your mouths shut, and stop the dribble coming out of it which is of a brownish colour, and let the current Australian government work with the governments around the world to bring us out of this. Afterall, Australia will be the country along with India who comes out of this the best behind China.

If there was ever a global recession the world media should take full responsibility for this. While the media is telling the world consumers not to spend and world businesses not to spend nor to employee staff, they are just doing that.

If the world media would for once concentrate on the positive and not the negative, the world would be in a better state. And then again, around the world where you have new or reasonably new leaders of countries in power, you have opposition parties doing everything in power to stop their country from moving forward.

I being Australian, am not a strong advocate for Australia to follow the United States or America. I would rather my country follow Europe and China, where I think the future and financial future lies. But, I take my hat of to President Barack Osama, for doing what many leaders wont do, and that is capping CEOs wages who ever want help from the U.S government. The only thing he did wrong by that is, he did not go far enough. There should be cap on their wages full stop. For all CEOs. What CEOs or managing directors etc should earn more money than what the president/ prime minister or leader gt in a year. For goodness sake, they only run a company, they do not run a country. What is bigger the country or the company?

Again, the same thing happened in Australia as to the United States, the only thing the opposition parties wanted in the stimulus packages were 'tax cuts'. But, how good are tax cuts when people are not in work or are being laid off. I now wonder why these opposition parties did not do any good in recent elections, because they don't have a single idea and are not in touch with the public.

Again, if you look at these companies laying off big numbers in staff. The decision has came from results going back 6 to 12 months ago, way before these latest stimulus packages were introduced. These companies lay off staff around the time where they have bad first half results but later go on to say, they are still on track to make record profits for the financial year. Again, these boards of businesses, are just worried amount money. It is all greed. So the CEOs can can record pay outs or bonuses.

In Australia, where Australia is now led by a prime minister who is in touch with the public and cares for Australia's future is doing everything possible to keep Australia from reaching the bad times like the rest of the world.

I would not say it is a recession, but I think the world is going it tough at the moment. Maybe, it is because the world relies on the United States too much. We follow the United States too much. In the way, this is why, the world is going through tough times. Lets face it. You do not have to be Einstein, to know that the United States was run by a absolute muppet for the last decade. He made alot of wrong decisions for America. He spent alot of tax payers money on the wrong things for America. In my word, and maybe just not my word, I think this is why the United States is in a bad position at the moment.

Getting back to Australia. I think Australia had a change of government at the exactly right and last moment. Australia like the United States was also run by a absolute muppet. Not just one, but many muppets. John Howard and his Liberal party absolutely stuffed up Australia over the past 13 years. They spent no money on infrastructure. Putting Australia so far behind the times, causing the current goverment to fix all these problems. They also sold off alot of Australia's assets. They made it hard for Australians to get or hold down a job. They wanted the rich to get richer and the poor to get poorer, widening the gap between the rich and the poor muchly, and the list goes on. If the Australian goverment was today still run by John Howard and his Liberals, I quote "Australia would be in a much worster state than America". I think Australia has alot to thank, we have a good prime minister currently in Kevin Rudd.

I had to laugh today. Yesterday Pacific brands announced they were going offshore, laying of a number of jobs and today Lend Lease announced they were laying off staff here and overseas. Except for the Malcom Turnbul of the Liberal party (the opposition) being sympathic to these employees, who are about to lose their job, they used it as a political gain, and said the labor party has just spent 52 billion dollars of tax payers money, which have nt saved jobs, but have lost jobs. Then going on to say obviously the stimulous package has not worked. Ofcourse it has not worked Turnbul, this money except for the 10 billion dollars in December has not even gone out yet! So how is it suppose to work? If you look back at the retail and sales figures for December they were up on previous years, so obviously that 10 billion went somewhere and helped.

I personally said early last year in 2008, yes Australia will find it tough, if and when the United States go into recession, give it 6 or so months, which is March/ April 2009, and if Australia has not slippid into recession, we will never slip into one. To this date we have not. I think Australians and Kevin Rudd have done enough to save this country from slipping into one. Also, I hate to mention this but I also think nature has helped Australia. I terribly feel sorry for these people in Victoria who have lost their homes in the fires, and also in Queensland, where their houses and livelihoods are damaged, but the money which will go back into the community ie small businesses to rebuild these towns, businesses and houses will benefit not just Victoria or Queensland but Australia, these businesses involved in rebuilding will need to hire staff. You think, it is just not labourers or builders. These houses and businesses will also need furnishings. These furnishings and materials have to come from somewhere. Australia will benefit from what nature and/ or god is telling us.

Australians, from now, you can look up, you have stood yourself up against the tough times the world has ever faced.

You sick of our government raising petrol costs, and then when you want to get out of your car and catch public transport, you wake up and realise, you can't because the public transport system is crap.

You' re not the only one, most people especially in Australia think the same, but can't do nothing.

The perfect solution is to follow London, and introduce the congestion charge, it works there and it is has been expanded.

All cities around the world must act now and adopt it, now and quickly.

For example, the government's around the world just need to slap a daily fee of $20 or equilavent for anyone entering a 20 kilometre radius of the city.

If you enter you pay, and the monies go into and must go back into the department of transport to make the local public transport system better and more frequent, if you don't use your car, great, the monies still go back into our public transport system. It is a no lose situation.

There is less cars on the road, and better still, think about the reduced impact on our atmosphere.

Time after time, people keep on saying London has a great transport system, with buses running 24 hours, the tube every minute or two etc because they have the population there, WRONG, all cities can be the same, if the government get behind public transport and the public uses it.

Can you imagine what it would be like, if everyone for a day or week would just leave their cars behind, and used public transport, all at the same time, just like the campaign at the moment where on Wednesday nights everyone turns their lights off for an hour. While imagining this, just think of the reduced impact on the atmosphere, as already mentioned, and as well if someday, due to a strike or something, there is no petrol available, and you had to catch public transport. Think about it.

Let's send a message to our governments so they can get behind public transport.
