Ok, when in the world is Hollywood going to get it together long enough to make the Wonder Woman movie?? Gees....it's been almost 10 years in the "works" . The "hold up" is the actress, the director...blah blah blah.. I mean, plenty of other remakes of super heroes are being done... All the wonderful woman i see playing Wonder Woman, frankly, are past their prime... Julie Strain,Sherilyn Fenn, Catherine Zeta-Jones, just to name a few... But of course no one could beat Lynda Carter!! Still... Hollywood is pumping out remake after remake of super heroes. i.e. : Batman, Superman,Spiderman,even the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles got a do-over!! I also heard that there are doing a Captain America and a Thor movie!!..What the deuce?? Come on... Wonder Woman was way more of a media darling than they were...My point being is...don't the sexiest,coolest super hero get a chance for a big block buster movie..get on with it...Hollywood has die hard fans of Wonder Woman....well....left high & dry!!

I so agree with this. Every few years we will hear the rumors someone is thinking of remaking this into a feature film but nooooooooooo. Like you said when do the super heroines get their day. Never! I think the Big Suits in Hollywood are uncomfortable watching a woman kick ass.

Suz, actually you're right, she is kinda horsey looking ... Alba, stunning as she is, is too slender for the role methinks. Wonder Woman needs to be kinda voluptuous, don't you think? Curvy, but athletic as well. Rose McGowan would've been good a few years ago, but she's had too much plastic surgery since ... Looks too plastic.

or perhaps Shannon Elizabeth (comeback movie?)

I was trying the different colours on for size, but of course the original comic strip Wonder Woman was caucasion, so one should probably stick to that ... Rachel McAdams? Chyler Leigh? Jaime Pressly?
I'm running out of ideas ... Unless it was a complete unknown, which could work because she'd carry no "actor baggage" ...
